We felt safe with the pilot, and the views are breath-taking. We caught the sunrise, and it will leave you speechless and filled with wonder and gratitude. He explained every place we visited in great detail, both in English and Turkish. He answered all our questions with patience and a smile. She was full of knowledge, good energy and insights in regard to the culture, history and traditions that make Cappadocia so unique. The sunrise ballon ride was amazing (I would absolutely recommend a package including this, it was the highlight of the tours) our cave hotel was beautiful. The tour includes stops at scenic locations as well as shops of traditional art (pottery, rugs, jewelry, etc) Just be aware that at each location, while they will give you plenty of knowledge and history about the craft, the hard sell of their wares will immediately follow, and some people in the group were uncomfortable with the persistence of the vendors. Regardless the tour was fantastic, everyone was so hospitable and kind. Our tour guide, Omer, was fantastic and answered all our questions. We hit a lucky day with perfect hot air ballooning conditions and it was magical.
