Oko no Taki Fall Yakushima-cho
The "lookout" is at the base of the waterfall and you can hear the force of nature and feel the mist kicking off the rocks - like Niagara Falls.
This is not the one above the toilet at the car park).
The Mangrove Park was incredible, lot's of creatures's paradise.
Mt. Kaimondake Ibusuki
You can park in the visitor center and start the hike from there.
Sakurajima Kagoshima
With clear blue skies today we enjoyed the view of the volcano from several vantage points including Dolphin Wharf, the ferry, Dinosaur Park and lookout on Sakurajima.
Beyond that rate experience, the park around the observatory is very beautiful with many great angles for viewing the impressive mountain.
Nagata Inakahama Yakushima-cho
yakushima is awesome in so many ways this was one of the worthy stops that add to the whole picture of a great adventure nature vacation
Mt. Shiroyama Kagoshima
I recommend this site for those that want to take a break from urban tourism and take in some nature nearby.
Sempiro Falls Yakushima-cho
We only paid a brief visit here as it was getting dark, but still impressive and not too far to walk from the car park
The park is huge & you can see different flowers & trees.
The park is lovely, we spent two-three hours walking around and could easily double that.
