What travellers are saying
- pierre dBurnley, UK140 contributionsMust do, we arrived early morning. Nice walk through a 'Chinese' theme area loads of shops etc. The Sky cab ride was amazing, i was a bit scared as i do not like hieghts. The ride was smooth and the views were amazing. The last part up is very steep the views out across the sea will live with me forever, PS trees looked like brocolli. The Sky Cab has two stations once you get off the 1st one you have the option to get off we went straight onto 2nd station. The views from the top pictures do not do justice, we walked down the steps to the skybridge. Beaware very hot when coming back up the steps. There is a train/ lift option. This was a highlight of our trip to Langkawi, my fears of the hieght quickly went away, amazing day !!Written 17 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lakshmy BSingapore, Singapore141 contributionsThe views were incredible…worth the trip! Only annoying thing was that their ticketing was unclear! So basically the cable car stops at mid level and allows people to go to this new thing which has a clear shorter bridge - picture worthy. If you choose to stop there, buy tickets for cable car and entry to transparent bottom bridge. Then buy extra ticket for the main bridge when you reach the top. .Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stuart TLondon, UK62 contributionsI was a bit disappointed. It is a nice beach, but certain parts have been taken over by jet-ski tours and paragliding companies. Certainly spoiled it a bit from when I came 10 years, ago. Its certainly not what I would class a tranquil.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RooshadIraq7 contributionsIt was one of the best places to visit in Langkawi.. A beautiful park with new experience feeding crocodiles and taking a family photo with a real crocodile with the crocodile expert Mrs. Suriana who showed us all parts of the park.. it was a great time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Written 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrsW007London, UK192 contributionsAfter seeing a number of reviews I contacted a company who offered a private 15 seat boat (we were a family of 10) for 4 hours taking in the bar cave, eagle feeding, fish feeding and snorkelling, monkey feeding in the mangroves, gorilla rock, and a swim on our own private beach. Our guide was flexible and fun. We stopped at the fish farm/restaurant on the way out to pre order our lunch and then ended the tour with our meal. Fantastic day. Highly recommend. - WouterAmersfoort, The Netherlands152 contributionsBest beach to visit if you’re on Langkawi.
I find the sand to be sweet, the sea water beautifully blue, and the surroundings mesmerizing.
Sadly, just like the other beaches on Langkawi, there is quite some plastic waste on the beach and in the water. This somewhat spoiled the otherwise perfect location to me.Written 5 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s under an hour but 250 steps so not for the unfit. Went further to Seven Wells but came back to swim at Telega. A rocky water slide made for a fun moment with my daughter. Very slippery so take care, my friend slipped and plummeted into the pool. Watch your belongings as the monkeys are cunning and opportunistic, taking people’s rubbish they’ve diligently tied up in plastic bags, but they take those and rip the plastic to get to the scraps leaving rubbish everywhere :(
Lovely lady making the best coconut smoothies I’ve had at the bottom/start of the hike which makes a delicious cold reward for your effortsWritten 25 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s clean and everything was powered, so it’s okay to eat (i think). We didn’t have any issues. Parking it tricky and suggest walking.Written 21 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Obviously this is more interesting if you have a little children, but it was fine. Personally I much more enjoyed visiting the four seasons for a cocktail.Written 5 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
