Great to visit with beautiful views.

It’s good to know that if you are visiting independently, to check the wind. If in doubt you can call them to see if the Skycabs are running or not. The 1st time we went, it was too windy so the Skycabs were not running, but did open a few hours later. If it does happen though, you can always go to the 3D museum which is a fun experience.

When you buy your ticket, if is busy, you are given a time slot or you can pay extra for the Express service. While waiting, you can visit the other museums (as part of the ticket package) or walk around the Chinese village for a snack.

Note: You cannot just buy a ticket for the Skycabs only.

Nice place to visit for a few hours. Do feed the crocodile. The kids really liked it. We took a package and it included pictures and crocodile feeding. We were also lucky to be there for the crocodile feeding. Otherwise there are, of course, only crocodiles. Not much else...

Stunning views, long scenic cable car ride. The cable car has 2 stops - don’t miss the first with large viewing with panoramic views.
SkyGlide is a tram that brings you from 2nd cable car stop to SkyBridge - very long queues and wait time because each trip takes only 15 persons. Walking (instead of SkyGlide) is possible but requires good fitness and mobility because of steep and uneven steps.
Ticketing can be more efficient - still have to queue to exchange online tickets for wristbands. There can be long waiting time for Glass-bottom gondolas (and other special cars) even though there is supposed to be “express lane” - because only 6 glass-bottom gondolas are in operation. But imho the glass bottom is worth the wait and small premium because overall effect is stunning.

Beach is lovely, some beach bars, and super busy.
The shopping street comes alive at night but there are just a few places to sit down and have beer which is too bad.
Lots of places to eat and lots of food stands or food trucks.

We arrived at the park independently after our tour guide failed to turn up and it worked out very well for us!
We booked the boat trip with just the eagles, the bat cave and the fish farm.
The fish farm is not worth a stop, it's a bit sad and I would give it a miss if you can. The speedboat trip was great and watching the eagles feed was awesome.
The bat cave was cool- pay the extra few pence for their torch to see the bats and watch out for the monkeys which are everywhere!
Would recommend b ut as a do it yourself.

Long beach, with some shadow, the water is clean and it has a nice view.if you want to rent sun beds, get ready to pay the double than on Cenang Beach (20MRY per sunbed). Few stalls are selling food and drinks, as well as tours in mangroves.

Nice falls with shady pools to splash in. A hot walk up but worth it if you want to see nature on Langkawi.

Langkawi Wildlife Park offers the opportunity to get up close and personal with some truly amazing creatures from Malaysia and the wider world. Whilst there is no ideal way to present such majestic animals to the public without drawing out detractors who will question the size of the enclosures and lack of space, the animals are well fed, and by having such an establishment it highlights their plight and hopefully exposes children and young adults to a world that needs taking care of!

Is it perfect? No! Does it make you stare in wonder at the joys of nature, and carefully consider just how precious the animal kingdom is? Absolutely!!

Anywhere that contains animals outside their natural habitat is going to be open to criticism and Underwater World is no exception! The various enclosures are pleasantly done but not big enough for the animals inside! That being said, the animals are relatively safe, well fed and they bring joy to those who visit, when otherwise they might remain unknown, in danger and struggling to survive. Ethics aside, Underwater World is a pleasant couple of hours attraction and worth a visit, to see the joy on the faces of children as they come face to face with such majestic creatures, is priceless. Go see for yourself!!

This most excellent museum is included in the cable car purchase. I'd pay extra it was so cool! Many zones to go through, each unique and fantastic. There is a brief "show" on the hour in the darkened room and everyone against one wall for viewing. It was pretty nice but a tiny part of the overall experience. Great for families, the best for anyone. You'll see Vern and me in the pictures.

Nice place to chill. Close to the pier, can hang around there if your early for your ferry.
Quite some movement at night with activities for kids.
Just missing some shade (umbrellas / kiosk) because the sun there will scorch you ;).

A long walk up on badly maintained trail but fun to experience to swim in COLD water in Malaysia. Too bad the park is not better maintained for visitors. This is my favorite waterfall of all the ones on Langkawi.

Gunung Raya was worth visiting. Nice views over Langkawi. The road is well paved. No eateries on top, just look-out.

I think Pasir Tengkorak really needs some TLC from the authorities. The toilets were locked and the showers were not working when I was there. But that said, this little beach is GREAT for a morning swim, when the waves aren't too big. The sand is incredibly soft too. It's also far away from touristy areas, which means you'll get to enjoy more of the beach! Beach bums will definitely LOVE this place. P/S: I came here during the low season, so maybe your experience will be different at different times of the year.
