We unforenately visited on a rainy morning. We went there not so much for a beach visit, but to visit the ecopark nearby (Tajung Tuan). It was low tide which made it ideal for Kids to play in the little Pools this created. One could walk up to 100 meters to the seashore. When We came back in the afternoon, the sun was shining and it was high tide. Now the beach was pretty full with local families. There were subboards to rent, bananasfloats behind motorboats. Beatifull and fun place to be. There are public toilets and a little foodcourt for food & drinks. You can also rent small tents so you can sit in the shade. Perfect for a nice day at the beach!

A very popular trail used by many trekkers. My advie would be to try the Bukit Putus starting point especially for beginners. Especially popular during weekends. The trail is well marked and with many trekkers ascending and descending, almost impossible to get lost!
For beginners, I would advise you to take it slow and easy. Do not rush as you might find the going very challenging especially if you are not used to trekking up a mountain. I would advise you to go in a group as the group dynamics will help push you to keep going.
Enjoy the scenery, stop to appreciate the various shapes and colors of the flora. You should come across some very strange shaped plants and flowers along the trail. Keep your ears tuned to the various sounds of the forest and you will soon appreciate the calls of various birds, monkeys, insects and other animals. Once you reach the peak, you will realize every ache in your muscles was worth it!
A great trail especially for those who enjoy nature walks and being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Only an hour and half drive from KL City center.

Visit for the Batu Putih trail, and stop by the light house. Normally will spotted monkey at the forest, yet it is the first time spotted the Dusky Leaf Monkey [most likely, not 100% confirm] at this area, excited.

    90 minutes from KL.
1.5-2.5 hours hike up to first stop Gunung Dato for breathtaking views in the air.
head to puncak 701 if you in for extra exercise and you will clock 14km with 8 hour hike.
NO water source along the way so bring your 2.5L of water.
leeches noticeable after gagak onwards so bring your insect repllents to spray those buggers.

Spend half day here. Nice and have a lot of variable history items, guns and vehicle. Not that crowded and accessing here is free of charge.

Lovely and amazing views! The Monkey God statue is marvellous! A tough walk for a couch potato like me but the view is worth it.
