We joined the guided tour of the museum. It was very good. The guide was very knowledgeable and articulate. He painted a very clear picture of the life of early settlers and tin mining at the turn of the 20th century. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Ipoh.

Another place with fun from the Sunway group. Great for young family with children. Well designed and layout.

First visit was 8yrs ago and it was much better than today, but still a nice trip for an hour or so.

My main disappointment is that there is now a factory of some sort in the garden and some of the mountains that previously enveloped the garden are now gone, it is such an eyesore and a real shame. Looking at other reviews it seems like some point in 2020 they cleared some of the mountains for that favctory/mine.

Overall, we went in Raya week which was probably a mistake as it was absolutely rammed and not that peaceful. I also noticed that in the past, they had lots of donated ornaments and vases all around the cave that were interesting to look at which have now been removed.

There is some parking inside and near the cave and the surrounding areas. Toilets and vending machines are available on site.

The cave itself is very large with ponds, fountains lighting and different levels to take in the views of both the statues or natural formations and is still definitely worth seeing.

The garden is to the rear of the cave and has great views of the (remaining) cliffs including a walking path for your sore feet and a few seating areas to take in the views.

If you go at a quieter time it is perhaps a lot more tranquil and calming, but even if slightly busy it is worth a visit.

This place is truly beautiful. We went when it was raining, and it was really beautiful, especially since most people would go home at that time.

Don't miss out the bicycles! It's worth renting the bicycles and cycling around the lake.
*The bicycles become really cheap when it rains - the prices are lowered according to availability.

We really enjoy their teas for health and wanted to learn a little more about them. This was a nice little side trip during a day trip to Ipoh. If you do enjoy healthy teas this is a good place to visit while enjoying the many places in Ipoh

Well maintained and cleaned. Must try the steps to the top to see nice views but you need to be an experienced climber for safety.

We took a walk around town in the mid afternoon looking for the street art. It was quiet and we took really nice photos. Some paintings were faded but overall, they were really nice.

The teenage children were reluctant at first to do the trek into the cave but after the visit, they felt that it was a sight to behold and not to be missed.
It is definitely worth a visit. It is an opportunity to burn off the calories after hitting the food trail in Ipoh.

We did not see much as it is close on Thursday.

Next day, we are there in the morning and only one shop open early, they sell blocks which interest me.

It is really nice to see what a block can build into a great things.

You can buy this as souvenior or make it as an hobby.

Iconic building. Colonial style in the western part of IPoh old city. This is a good place to visit - either by train or as a tourist interested in architecture

Grab your chance to meet nature while it is still preserve..
With a rapid development surrounding, the beach is only one of the few nature remains in LUMUT..
The sand remain as one of the whitest sand available in beaches along the west coast of peninsular Malaysia..
Grab your bikini and enjoy the sun..
The summer is endless here in teluk batik beach..
There are plenty of water activities provided such as jet ski and boat tour..
Enjoy the view of sunset at around 7pm local time everyday..
At night, nothing much offered except for night walk or romantic candlelight dinner..

I’d say this would be the gem of Pangkor for a tranquil spot to laze away, or to soak in the sun and sea. We were there during the low season thus it wasn’t packed. Coral Beach is ideal for families.

Located a little further north of Teluk Nipah, Coral Beach is a quiet stretch of beautiful beach with emerald waters. The water is reasonably clear around the shore but don’t expect pristine crystal clear waters like the islands on the East Coast side of Malaysia. The beach, though not spotless, was decently clean enough during our visit. Be mindful that the stretch of sand towards the shore is a little rough and littered with pieces of dead coral and shells swept in by the waves. As you step a couple of meters away from the shore however, you land on lovely soft fine sand. The water gets deeper a few meters away and the currents are a little strong so it's better to stick close to shore.

There are a couple of good cafes right on the beach - Daddy’s Cafe and Nipah Deli. Would recommend Daddy’s cafe for the good food and service. Wooden deck chairs are available outside Daddy’s Cafe and can be used for free. Beach towels and mattresses for the deck chairs are available at RM 5 per piece each. There is also an outdoor shower outside Daddy’s Cafe for you to rinse off. It's a 10 minutes ride here by cab from Pasir Bogak side, and the cost varies between RM15-RM20 per trip.

This is a decent enough island. It has some minor attractions, some shopping and some decent beaches. It is no Langkawi, Penang or Tioman but is close enough to Kuala Lumpur for a short vacation.
