I really like the interesting and informative guides. Introducing the Hakka history very well and I feel proud as a Hakka.

I would say it’s one of the nice theme park in Malaysia but many things got to be improved.

First, the variety of food and pricing. Portion are small but pricey. We tried the taufufah, cucu r udang, keropok lekor, all tasted very average. Please have more option of healthy food rather than hot dogs and pop corns since outside food is not allowed.

Not many places to sit too since it’s a peak season. Should provide more tables and chairs.

Lastly, please train the staff especially those stationed at Ipoh Street stalls to be more cheerful and friendly. Most of them looks sad, unhappy like they were forced to work.

What is nice about this theme park is the Fire Show. Worth waiting at 9pm to watch the show. Also not forgetting, the Luminous Forest 🌳

This is a great little museum to visit while in Ipoh. We enjoyed learning about the tea and the taste testing at the end of the visit. Very well organised!

If you're in the area then you should definitely visit Perak Tong. It's one of a few temples within a cave in Malaysia and has a relaxed and thought provoking vibe to it. I can recommend it but only for an hour or so.

Wow what a beauty and nature probably millions of years old.
    Natural cave temple and gardens.
Take some time to appreciate the limestones formation in the cave temple - it’s huge.
You may light a candle with your name and wish and buy the fish feed as there are 2 big ponds here.
    Beware of monkeys though

While Penang has long been well-known for street art, Ipoh also has its fair share of murals. Interesting paintings depicting daily life of Ipoh residents are available in the old town. Searching for artworks while exploring the former mining city is an enjoyable experience.

The Ipoh Railway Station, a historic landmark designed by Arthur Benison Hubback and affectionately dubbed the "Taj Mahal of Ipoh," is a must-visit destination in Perak. This heritage spot not only serves as a transportation hub for Keretapi Tanah Melayu's ETS services but also boasts an architectural splendor that captures the essence of Malaysia's colonial era.

The station's picturesque setting offers excellent opportunities for Instagram-worthy photos, complemented by its proximity to iconic landmarks like Padang Ipoh and Birch Memorial Clock Tower. Padang Ipoh, a historic playground, and the elegant clock tower are testament to Ipoh's rich cultural heritage and vibrant past.

Located conveniently on Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, the station provides easy access to various attractions and civic institutions, including the Ipoh Main Post Office and Ipoh Town Hall.

Overall, the Ipoh Railway Station offers more than just transportation—it's a gateway to Ipoh's history and a symbol of the city's enduring charm. Don't miss the chance to explore this iconic landmark on your visit to Ipoh.

Charming place with many retail shops, local traditional eateries and modern Instagram-able cafes. My second time here, I bought some local biscuits home for souvenirs

Owners have re-created a local village at this very picturesque location set within limestone hills and ponds. Kids enjoyed cycling around on family bicycles which available free of charge. Rickshaws are similarly available if you fancy more exercise. There are lots of fish and turtles in the ponds and fish feed can be purchased for RM 1 per packet. Overall, it was a pleasant way to spend an hour or so. Certainly it was more enjoyable than I had expected.

Definitely worth the price!! Discovered many interesting things and history in this museum. Not only managed to experience the histories but also managed to get some yesteryears souvenirs in the Arlene house gift shop! Hard to get or even see this kind of special gifts or souvenirs anywhere else! Overall, it was a good and valuable experience!! Would totally recommend this place to my friends and family!

We were told it is one of the oldest cave temples here so we had to come take a look. Note that they close quite early at 230pm.

Beautiful temple but the locals told us it has not been well-maintained. Much overgrown vegetation and dim at some point, but it still has its charm here.

Grab a bowl of chopped tomatoes to feed the tortoises at the other outlet of the cave temple. We spent /497'd 30-45 minutes here. Best to see other caves in the area to make your trip worthwhile.
