- LonelyMeng22 contributionsHad to come early to get parking space . The famous meat floss and lotus filling was great and thank you to the auntie who recommended the Hawaiian macadamia nut biscuits and it was good. - DdeviSingapore, Singapore60 contributionsThe best place to visit to try traditional and authentic teas and desserts. We had alot of tea in ipoh, this place left a lasting impression, the white flower tea, perfect purple ang ku kueh and the cheese cake tea set for 2 was a delight and the best part was that it was vegetarian (desserts without any eggs). Its a must try and if I could I would definitely visit again.Written 30 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ocdnomad8 contributionsAs a young child my late Mum would buy coffee from this Aunty weekly whilst doing her grocery shopping!
I grew up on Ipoh white coffee and today, am still a staunch supporter of this product and the proprietor who is the last of a dying breed!
Even though I moved to London, every trip back home had to include a trip to the central market to buy at least 5 kgs of coffee to take back!
The lovely proprietor, would blend as per our request! My preference for 'kaw' which means strong in Cantonese, would always be met with a sage like nod!
I just hope this lovely traditional coffee place continues to thrive and continued by the next generation!
Thank you Aunty for my daily cup of Joe that makes me smile without fail!!!Written 6 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - amanda TIpoh, Malaysia10 contributionsi love how helpful and friendly is the staff here, they will just explain everything that you're interested to know. Even gave me a free map of ipoh. Do check out their handmade good part far inside. The goods are made by local crafters where some are single mom and some are cancer patients.Written 3 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
