We really enjoyed the Cameron highlands tour with Jai. Jai is a very knowledgeable and passionate tour guide who provides you with in-depth knowledge about the stunning Cameron highlands and surrounding area. The tour was very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend.

The story behind the castle and the history of the cave temples were all very interesting. Our guide, Tom, was amazing and knowledgeable about Ipoh. He was also accommodating in what we wanted to see on the tour. He went above and beyond in making sure we had what we needed. He also brought us to local eateries for fabulous authentic local food. We highly recommend this tour and Tom to our friends.

Amazing to see the work of the sanctuary and see the orang-utans being looked after so well. The santuary relies on guests so you are contributing with your visit. Rajan our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, history and then later we stopped at the caves.

    Great day

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Dev. After a rough start (we slept in and didn’t hear our alarm — Dev was so nice to wait on us for 2 hrs!!!), we visited a pomelo farm, cave temples, Kellie’s Castle, the old town of Ipoh (really enjoyed a stop to try the famous Ipoh’s white coffee).
He explained a lot about Malaysian culture and customs.
Thank you Dev we will always remember you ❤️

the tour is fruitful and the schedule is quite tight. The first viewpoint is a cave inside of a mountain and we enjoy the path quite much, as the lights are simple but able to show the environment correctly. The rests of the views are temples of chinese-style. they are quite beautiful and stylish and all of them are built in caves that make them special.

The guide is a very open and nice person. His name is Muhammad. He guided us into the gua tempurung cave for an hour. And we walked around the rest temples by ourselves. He knows a lot about Malaysia sightseeing places and it is such a great experience having him travelling together.
For the lunch, basically you can ask him to take you to any nearby places or ask for his recommendation.

Interesting experience. The rescue centre is based on an island and the management of the transition from mainland to island was smooth and troubled free.

The Island had several Orangutang that could viewed and they looked well cared for and healthy.

    Overall a worthwhile experience

It is not easy to find a guided tour of the Lenggong Valley. The tour organised by Ipoh Secrets Tours with guides John (for the day) and Faiz (for the caves) was just what we needed. From Ipoh we travelled comfortably by car to the Lenggong Valley where we visited several caves where archaeological excavations have been carried out (including Gua Teluk Kelawar, Gua Ngaum and Gua Asar). As announced, we walked from one cave to the next; good shoes were essential, as the path was in the forest and the ground can be slippery in the caves. On the way back, we visited the Lenggong Archaeological Museum before enjoying a delicious laksa telur sarang in a typical restaurant. The tour also included a very interesting stopover in the royal city of Kuala Kangsar, where we visited the royal mosque and the magnificent "temporary" palace (Muzium Diraja Kuala Kangsar). Our guides were both very knowledgeable and we thank them once again for this wonderful day of discovery.

Thank you to our tour guide John for a great day out. John picked us up from our hotel in Ipoh at 8am and we headed straight for Orang Utan Island. It was about an hour drive and the vehicle was very comfortable. Visiting the island in the morning was a good choice as the orangutans were all visible and responsive in the cooler temperature. We had a great time at the island and the orangutans were just neat and so well looked after. After the island John took us to a range of places around Taiping and Ipoh before returning to the hotel around 4pm. Thank you John, we really enjoyed our day.
