- Jet407461383381 contributionThe guide, Mr Leong was very knowledgeable and engaging. A must visit in Ipoh. Could do with more tours but understand the cost and manpower issues.Written 14 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kellie GMelbourne, Australia19 contributionsGreat experience, for the $40 admission fee I think we got a lot
Out of it. Animals, rides and water slides. We managed to stay from 11-4pm.
Good choices were just ok but that’s pretty usually for a theme park.
Not sure I would come
To Ipoh just to go here but we had a great day out.
My boys zip lined, fed a girrafe, got the see some animals up close- not sure about there enclosures though, went on follower coasters and all sorts of water slides.
We went on a Wednesday and it was really quiet so no lining up which was great.Written 13 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Earthplight32 contributionsInteresting place, sorry it is run down and not well maintained. This can be a good tourist hangout if it is maintained and developedWritten 25 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vthc4Singapore, Singapore310 contributionsWhile the 2nd Concubine lane is worth a visit for first timers, it has little to attract a repeat visit. It’s short and narrow. One hardly notices the history of the street while browsing to the vendors there. However, there is a good coconut refreshment shop selling coconut water, shake and ice cream that is worth visiting to rest one’s tired feet. Plenty of eateries within a stone’s throw from the 2nd Concubine lane.Written 1 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RitzIzaut-de-l'Hotel, France2 contributionsI only have one comment to make which is about the animals there.....especially the ponies...
They look rather thin and when I was there today the 3 ponies looked hungry and one pony was nibbling on the sand. There wasnt any food or water for them. Hope the Ipoh Town Council could look into this matter immediatelyWritten 10 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s walking distance from the 2nd Concubine Lane so plenty of eateries nearby. RM 10 entrance ticket.Written 2 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jacqueline T5 contributionsThe journey there was around 15 mins by car from old town. The roads leading up to the entrance of the cave/lake was full of gravel so the car must drive in slowly. The experience was very short, overall 10-15 mins and you would be done by it also depends on your preference on how long to stay at the site. The view was stunning and worthwhile going first thing in the morning when the crowds are less so you can get pictures of the scenery on its own without people interfering in the shots. There's a coffee shop nearby which you can have their famous kopi at as well. Prices are a little steep at this shop.Written 15 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Seng100Boston, MA193 contributionsRevisited the hot springs 30 years later but now as a new and beautifully landscaped full-service retreat. Arrival was met by genuinely warm staff who whisked us to our suite with both a private dipping pool and hot spring tub. Room was nicely decorated and adorned, although somewhat eclectically, but with all the amenities that a modern traveller would expect from a high-end resort, viz. multiple charging stations and super-fast wifi that permitted unfettered zooming. Our suite had access to a dining table and large and comfortable sitting area that allowed us to entertain visitors. Bed and bathroom areas were well laid out, spacious, and comfortable; everything worked well and products were of high quality. Access to a private hot spring pool was a nice feature that we partook and enjoyed frequently. There were 2 TVs but the selection and quality of the programs were poor. The property had a number of interesting caves that provided some distraction and entertainment and arguably instagram-able pictures. Partook a "long" session at the spa facility, which lay-out was also very nicely designed - however, service provided was below expectations; I sensed the masseur's discomfort with what she was doing. Ate at the Pomelo restaurant for breakfast and 1 dinner that provided a wide selection of local dishes. The offerings were tasteful but could be of a much higher quality - that reflects the reputation of the renowned Ipoh restaurants. Overall, a very good experience and would revisit if looking for a quiet getaway. I should note that all the staff with whom we interacted with were wonderful - although some could benefit with additional training (restaurant and spa).Written 26 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KoloblicinSingapore, Singapore595 contributionsWent during happy hour and did a 90mins deep tissue massage. It is MYR158 but was discounted to MYR138 during happy hour. The massage was okay, but the room was super cold and I had to tell the staff to turn off the aircon. But overall it was a good experience.Written 13 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Eric Cheong1 contributionHeard great words and dropped by to visit, as the location is quite convenient, just a few steps away from Ipoh's famous street of the best traditional coffee shops.
Tried a serving of their desserts after coffee and was pleasantly enjoyable. Walking around the shop you can find traces of memories frozen in time, if you not just see, but really look.
Do come along with friends and those closest to you, as this is a place where food is meant to be enjoyed and experiences to be shared.Written 28 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a terrific experience both times.
Easy, fast and helpful booking.

He asked for our preference in terms of speaking language, where he’s both fluent in English & Chinese (also Malay & Cantonese). We didn’t have a fixed itinerary as it is a spontaneous trip, but Siew was very accommodative and recommended a lot of good food to us. He also very very knowledgeable in terms of Ipoh’s history, and very very passionate about his job. He brought us to many heritage areas and explained in details the history of each location.Written 13 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
