- BiBaiLiHong Kong, China79 contributionsSo pleased I found this new antique and vintage gallery in Georgetown! Opened in 2024, it features a very attractive selection of unique antique and vintage furniture and home decoration items. One of the best selections in Penang and worth a visit.
They have larger furniture items, as well as more portable Penang Heritage and other antique / vintage items that are suitable for travellers.
Already bought my first treasure ... a tiny display cabinet that's made an excellent addition to my home. We looked around and they had a few things but it did strike me as quite pricey. As we didnt have so much money we took a set that was enough for 4 people and the guy wouldnt negotiate - fair enough.
What I find absolutely terrible is that I found the exact same set in Kuala Lumpur for 1/4 of the price in the local supermarket.
To me the set he sold us seemed older and antique like....well it was the exact same one as in the local supermarket.
Do not shop here. All reviews on Google state the same that it is overpriced and the guy there is a liar.
