- Yasin J12 contributionsAbsolutely wonderfully curated antique store - a unique gem in Penang consisting of very accessible pricing to more rare finds for the very selective seekers. - roy vTraralgon, Australia6,027 contributionsFound this market place when out walking one morning.
It was very busy and down one end of it many people were having breakfast in a food court area.
There are many shops there selling nearly every type of food and clothes you would want , gift and souvenirs shops a plenty.
Good atmosphere, we bought some bananas and delicious plums there.

The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the many samples that helped decide which souvenir coffee to purchase as gifts. The prices to me was reasonable and being we were on a cruise with limited time in port we were not at liberty to shop for the best deals for good coffee. The coffee and juice packets we purchased were enjoyed and praised by those that we gifted them too.Written 5 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The shop offers personal service, a man's shirt from the stock fabrics in your own size will be ready in 3 days with a small surcharge. There are smaller souvenir items, pouches, bags, hats and clothing for children and women too. Different kinds of batik fabrics are also sold by meter.Written 21 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul HTwin Waters, Australia139 contributionsThis is a beautiful little gift shop, quite unlike the usual run of gift shops in old Penang. These are gifts with a difference, unique and stylish. For example, we purchased a woman’s purse and a glasses case - both made from old kimonos. It is that sort of place. You can find lovely, unique gifts and home wares that are of excellent quality and reasonably priced.Written 31 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Enormous good selection of books on Penang and Malaysia, mostly by local writers, can be found here - from heritage, culture, arts, horror stories, love to politics. Inviting atmosphere and strategic location with tourist attractions all within walking distance (Armenian street, Sun Yat Sen museum, Lebuh Acheh mosque just to name a few). We bought one book but will come back for more :)Written 1 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BiBaiLiHong Kong, China79 contributionsSo pleased I found this new antique and vintage gallery in Georgetown! Opened in 2024, it features a very attractive selection of unique antique and vintage furniture and home decoration items. One of the best selections in Penang and worth a visit.
They have larger furniture items, as well as more portable Penang Heritage and other antique / vintage items that are suitable for travellers.
Already bought my first treasure ... a tiny display cabinet that's made an excellent addition to my home. - rubenrubinskyCologne, Germany26 contributionsAbsolutely great bookstore. Very calm and quiet atmosphere, thoughtfully curated selection of local and international works. They additionally offer very nice signed prints from a local artists. A small exhibition on knitting and storytelling was also on display. Most interestingly, the store offered a glimpse into the local literary scene, with vibes of subculture and critical thought. Strongly recommended for all who love books and culture.Written 24 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
