    Beh was great!
    We had just arrived in Penang and did not have a list of top things to see. Beh was great in recommending where to go. Our trip with him only began at 3 pm as that was the only time available that day. He said it is best to start earlier as many places would be closing earlier than our 6 hours but he was good in getting us to the places that had earlier closing times first. He was very friendly and informative and we enjoyed the combination of attractions that the chose. A very delightful experience!

    A must in your Penang trip
    Food selection and the tour around the city was amazing! King surely knows every corner and almost every story around Penang. We really enjoyed it and it should be a must for anyone visiting Penang for the 1st time.

    Wonderful Tour on Penang's Countryside
    We enjoyed a wonderful and informative tour of Penang's countryside. Our friendly guide Eddie showed us around and told us fascinating stories about the local people and their traditions. The bike ride was also relaxing with fresh air and peaceful scenery. It was a great way to spend the morning :-)

    Penang Full Day Tour
    Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and even arranged to get us to the butterfly farm in time to participate in releasing new butterflys. He was very understanding of our interests ad made sure we saw everything we were interested in with lots of helpful and informative commentary

    A introduction to the Penang food scene
    Jeremy, our host, was amazing. His knowledge of history and culture and, of course, food, was perfect. Ate Indian, Chinese, Nyonya. Very good value, as we were so full afterwards. Great to experience old Georgetown in the way the local residents do. Highly recommend this.

    Great experience!
    We did a Georgetown evening food tour with Suraiya and loved every minute of it. Georgetown is an amazing city with interesting food and things to see in every corner. Suraiya has lived there her whole life and is very knowledgeable about the history, culture and cuisine of the place. We learned so much and were stuffed with delicious food by the end of the tour. Highly recommended!

    Best cooking course
    I can’t rate this experience highly enough. It was a treat to be able to do a course in private.

    Before:
    Communication via WhatsApp was smooth and we were provided with suggestions of where and what to eat in George Town as well as some bars to go to.

    Pickup:
    We got picked up at the hotel by Samuel in his wonderfully ACd car. As he drove us to the Batu Lanchang market he was explaining the areas we traveled through and we talked about how he’s gotten to where he is

    Market:
    At Batu Lanchang we picked up much of the ingredients we were going to use. It was interesting to be at a market with a local.

    After we were done with the shopping we stopped to have a light lunch. The Otak-otak (fish cake) was superb and we loved the bright green calamansi (lime) sourplum drink.

    Cooking:
    We arrived at the 38th floor at his home / cooking school and started to prepare the food. Samuel was very patient with us and explained the recipes well.

    It was very hot to cook as it was 34° and humid. The cross draft helped a bit.

    We had chosen to cook:
    * Malay: Ikan Bakar /
    Portuguese Grilled Seabass with Lady Fingers
    * Straits Chinese: Lai Yao
    Prawn or Chicken /
    Buttermilk Stir-fried Prawn
    * Penang Street Food &
    Hawker Food: Lemak Laksa
    * Baba Nyonya: Kari Kapitan
    Ayam / Nyonya Captain
    Chicken Curry

    We loved all of it. The fish was superb, the laksa was the best I’ve ever had and the curry was delicious. In hindsight we should have chosen prawns without shell but it’s a minor thing and still tasty.

    After:
    Samuels’ wife Jacqueline dropped us off at the giant temple which was appreciated.

    And we had enough food left over that we had it for dinner and breakfast!

    Cycling Tour in Penang Countryside
    Wonderful day cycling through the countryside in Penang .Priscilia an excellent guide respected by the locals and had a a great knowledge of how the Malays used the farming lands. A informative and fun tour with many local foods and fruits along the way. highly recommend this tour to immerse yourself in the countryside.

    Penang tour by one of the best
    PC collected us from our hotel and was very friendly and informative. We took in many sites including a couple of temple, the pier and general city points of interest.
    She was so fabulous she took me to a Chinese medicine centre for some acupuncture. This was a great relief and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services. Lunch at a traditional local food place was brilliant.

    Did this tour today with EngSeong. Great tour with a highly knowledgeable and flexible tour guide.

    Highlights of Penang
    Absolutely must see when in Penang. We spend 3 hours at Penang Hill, taking time to enjoy the view and the Habita walk, which was amazing. Good to have fast lane ticket especially on the way back. Kek Lok Si temple was very impressive too. It took us 1 hour to see everything. After that we were taken to o coffee and batik shop. Our guide Robin was very good, funny, super knowledgeable and told us many stories about Penang, Malaysia and even beyond. Overall the trip is highly recommend but much overpriced.

    Beautiful mansion with a fascinating history
    Beautiful mansion with a fascinating history. We booked the morning tour - it cost RM25 (about $8 in AUD). Our guide, Sally, was very knowledgeable, and told lots of interesting (and funny!) stories about Cheong Fatt Tze and the history of the building. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Penang!

    Private Tour: Full Day Center Penang Island Tour
    Peter is our guide and he picked us up on time. What I like is that we were able to dictate what we want to see and he was very patient with us. He was able to answer most of our questions and if he does not know it, he looked it up and get back to us.
    We recommend this tour if you are new to Penang Island.

    Good tour with an excellent guide
    Interesting tour with excellent tour guide.
    Entopia Butterfly Farm was most enjoyable and arriving early in the day was great as we missed the crowds which we building as we left.
    The Tropical Spice Garden not so exciting.
    The tour was worthwhile just to get out of Georgetown and see other parts of the Island.
