What travellers are saying
- OoiYenKheeKuala Lumpur, Malaysia123 contributionsThis is a place that you can go for do exercise or family gathering or society activities also can. There have mini market that you can buy the drink, food and snack at there but the price got a bit expensive compare at outside. The also got a big playgroud and swimming pool. But public holiday or weekend will be have a lot of people inside the swimming pool so not so suggest.Written 21 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephen HVung Tau, Vietnam149 contributionsThe racecourse doesn't feature in any of the tourist maps + is a little difficult to find but a worthwhile afternoon pastime. The course is impeccable + the horses appear well cared for. After being informed at two different bus stations (Komtar + Jetty) that no bus goes to the track I booked Grab. The cost was reasonable at 10 r for a 15 minute ride.Admission was 6 r ($1.50 US).I noticed buses on a nearby road, Ayer Itam, so the ride home was only 1.40 r .
The racing started at 1.45pm + finished at 5.45.
Racing is on selected weekends.Check out the website for racedays. The jockeys seem to fly in from Singapore + Macau. The prize money is on the low side so I assume the horses are ones not good enough for Australian,HK or Japan.
The paddock is in front of the A/C grandstand and the horses are paraded with the "jockeys up".
I really enjoyed my afternoon here + will plan to visit again.Written 4 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - boo_tofuKuala Lumpur, Malaysia127 contributionsI have always been skeptical about anything to do with magic. But this place in a way changed my mind.
The facade of the so called "museum attraction" can somewhat be rather misleading as it seemed like any ordinary shop lot in Penang, but once you pass through the entrance, you are immediately pulled into their efforts in mesmerizing you with their magic. (I won't reveal much here to avoid giving out too much!) But it's true what they say, don't judge a book by its cover.
The displays are interactive and at time thought provoking. All for the pure fun and of course, a lot can be used for your instagram posts!
What I really enjoyed the most was the LIVE magic show in their mini theater , which was engaging, comical and some tricks were REALLY good! Kudos to the magician!
All in all I would say this was a good effort by the management to have such an attraction. There are many areas for improvements of course, but with time and experience, I am sure it will get better.
Highly recommended for families especially with young children. Please keep your expectations low - Just go for the FUN of it all, and enjoy the experience!Written 24 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This place really provide lots of different & quality games, which you rarely find elsewhere. Clean & simple cafe. The finger food were good. May suggest to add more variety of drinks though. Will keep introducing it to others ....Written 2 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jasperho40 contributionsFun climbing gym. The gym is mainly bouldering wall (90% bouldering) with a small section for top rope.
Lots of routes with different difficulty to try. The difficulty is graded from 1 to 7 with a good mix of all levels of difficulty to cater to different climbing ability.
Rental of equipment is available on site if you do not have your own. Overall my family spent about 2 hours there and had a great time.Written 28 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Painting materials, an apron, glass of wine and soul soothing music are provided. People always have fun as they release the inner artist from their childhood many saying “I haven’t painted since early school”. Everyone is encouraged and guided by both leaders, Kerwyn and Aaron who are very supportive. Very friendly and courteous service.Written 24 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
