- Trip612535671582 contributionsOne of the best museums I’ve ever been to. You learn so much about penangs music history. And the staff is very passionate about it. We got a private tour and it was very fun and informative. You can try many different music instruments- it is just awesome!
In my opinion a Must-Visit when you come to Penang.Written 23 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The market tour was very, very interesting and helpful for future shopping trips. And the cooking class was very well organized. It went perfectly according to plan and the resulting food was delicious. - 1BN94Budapest, Hungary2 contributionsThe cooking class with Khalid was the best! He showed me how to cook Beef Rendang, Nasi Lemak and Char Kway Teow which were both just absolutely delicious. The class really reignited my love for cooking and was the highlight of my stay in Georgetown! Plus Khalid is just a great guy all around.
Absolute Recommendation to do this class!

- YPSooSingapore927 contributionsBespoke bar not so hidden from the main door & gate as the music was bursting 😂
Cocktails were great and had interesting names.
Had their special cocktail - xiao lung nu (小龙女) which was vodka, apricot liquor and pink dragon fruit.
Their new old fashioned was a special rendition of the usual - bourbon whiskey, stout and bitters.
Music wise more like a club. Saw tables playing dices and cards.Written 15 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We liked not being limited to a walking tour area and appreciated the air conditioned car in 95 degree heat. Kevin is super friendly and great at answering our many questions. He grew up in Penang and was a chef so is very knowledgeable about the area and the food scene. We particularly liked our breakfast spot at Pilau Tikus market and our last stop on Penang rd where we had laksa, flat noodle story fry and shaved ice dessert. We enjoyed walking through food markets and having Kevin explain what the fruits and vegetables were that we didn’t recognize. Highly recommend!Written 31 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We have since revisited a couple of the places.
