- Ade3 contributionsPicked up from hotel on time, Vince our guide was polite and informative, short hop to island. The snorkelling was ok, Sandy water limited vision on surface but dive a few feet and good. Lunch was very tasty and wide ranging short walk around island and a bit of swimming and snorkelling off of beach. Not much else to do, but additional snacks before departing ( snoozing in hammock looking at great views). - Md FirdausSingapore, Singapore17 contributionsI went with both my parents, and it was a very enjoyable experience! I visited 5 years ago, and there have been improvements from the reception area, to the increased number of staff and guides, and lunch provided as compared to last time 👍🏼
We got Clare as our guide, and she was very patient and kind despite certain people in the group that were a tad more mischievious throughout the tour.
The tour was smooth, the post-tour performance was entertaining, and the lunch was delicious. All in all, I'm glad that MMCV has improved over the years and gave my parents as wonderful an experience as last time I went 😁👍🏼👍🏼

We learned a lot of plants and nature there, interesting stuff. Would recommend, especially to nature lovers or people who enjoy walks or being active. The canopy bridge seems high however once you're on, it is not too bad. Foliage heavily covers the ground so doesn't feel like you are high up. Also we saw the rafflesia keithil flower which was lucky as seeing the flower isn't guaranteed, blooms slow and finishes fast. - Art DSydney, Australia2 contributionsIsland staff on Sapi and Manukan roped off the reef with fish& coral and only allowed snorkelling where the bottom was sandy and barren. Most people put on the (sign said essential) life jacket and saw nothig. I swam over to the coral and whistles and horns and eventually a lifeguard on a foam kayak insisted I move away back to the barren sand. I explained I was experienced snorkeller, that I would not tread or touch the coral or fish to no avail. Special one to William our guide. So kind with my mom, so helpful with my friend and very insightful. And we saw the Raflesia flower. 3 to 4 years of growing up. Just to see it opening for 2 to 3 days! Can you believe it!.. Kinabalu and offspring tour must be done. Our boat driver was skillful and fun. - GrandTour408004509421 contributionMy boyfriend and I had an awesome time on the Bongawan River Cruise! The food was great, and our guide really made the experience special. They even took some cute pics of us at the beach, which was a nice touch. The driver was on time, and since the trip starts in the evening, we caught an amazing sunset. The best part, though, was the fireflies – super romantic, especially for couples. I booked the whole thing through WhatsApp +6012-750 1311, and it was super easy. If you’re looking for a chill and scenic date idea, I’d totally recommend this cruise.
