- Leanda DTownsville49 contributionsAs a crazy cat lady as soon as I read about this I knew I had to go. Located on the lobby floor of the Kuching North City Hall about 10kms from the waterfront/city centre, I spent around 2 hours there. It is comprised of 4 galleries with over 4000 items dedicated to all things feline. The first gallery has several taxidermy specimens, these looked scruffy and tired (and were vaguely disturbing) but nonetheless it was good to see the various species of the area. The rest of the exhibition contained sculptures, artworks and even fashion dedicated to our feline friends. - Departure268552268321 contributionI’m all for history and all that has gone on before. On a hot day it was indeed pleasant to be at the old court house where this mini museum is located. Information provided by others is comprehensive. I enjoyed the visit with my family. The colonial high ceilinged building with timber tiles and inner courtyard gives it a cool environment. Entry was 29r and seniors 25 r....probably the going rate for these places as we have done them inPenang and Ipoh in the past.
