- msh01San Diego21 contributionsMuseum is small but a deep dive into the history of the Brits who ruled Kuching but not for Britain. Informative but a little expensive - you can get similar info at the Borneo Cultures Museum. Nice to walk up to the fort alongside the waterfall.Written 26 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Donald FEdinburgh, UK655 contributionsIf you like history, visit both this Fort and the exhibition at the Old Courthouse. They detail the Brooke family who ruled Sarawak for 100 years. Take a sampan over the river to the Fort - only 1 ringgit each way.Written 6 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nick BSouth Wales, UK179 contributionsif you are interested in textiles and ethnographic handicrafts there are some quietly stunning pieces in here. Plenty of info in English and well set out. Just a small exhibition. Count on about 45 minutes to see it. Free entry as are the other museums in town.Written 21 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ragu88Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia929 contributionsThe Urang Sarawak ‘Pameran Tentang Kita’ Exhibition displays different historical traits of the Sarawak people.
