    Orangutan Experience
    Thank you Edwin and your team for a wonderful morning trip to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre..Even though it was a rainy day we loved that Anwar appeared for us.. What an amazing experience.. will highly recommend you to all of our family and friends back in Australia. 😊

    Amazing experience
    The trip was amazing for different thing. First the respect of the wildlife « if you want to be sur to see animals, you can go in a zoo ». The trip is very well organized and we have seen different ecosystem, mangrove, coral, birds, turtle. Second, Tom and the boatman was very kind, the never hesitat to share their knowledge.

    Awesome day!
    A great day out! Would have liked to walk more of the trails but in the group you confir to the majority! Our guide was over qualified! Knew every plant !

    Best Homestay Ever!
    We had a perfect 2D1N trip with Rucksack Kayaking! It was literally everything we were looking for!

    The trip started with a visit to the Orangutan Sanctuary, where we were lucky to see one female. Then, we were transported to the kayaks. The kayaking was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed spending time outside without any other tourists in sight. Also, the food we got for lunch was basic, but delicious!

    Then, we were brought to our homestay. The homestay was by far the best homestay I have ever done. The host family was very very (!) friendly and welcoming. He spoke perfect English, so he could explain everything we wanted to know. We were also invited to a family gathering which was very interesting. Half of the village assembled to pray for a sick member and heaps of food was served afterwards. The people were all so warm-hearted and kind. We really enjoyed their company. Thank you!

    The next day, we hiked to a waterfall with the host. Also very beautiful with no other people around! He cooked lunch for us on the open fire with bamboo and it was yummy!
    The transport back to Kuching also worked without problems and we were back in time..

    All in all, I would really recommend this package. Obviously, you should not expect a luxury stay. There are quite a lot of insects and everything is rather basic. But in my opinion, that makes the experience even better (and a lot more adventurous). Also, it was so nice to be in the village / rainforests without the crowd of tourists you would normally expect. So, if you're looking for an authentic 2-days trip around Kuching, this is the thing to do!

    Highly recomended
    Lucian is an excellent guide. We went with him to Semenggoh, Bengoh Dam waterfalls and Kampung Sting. Besides hikings were really nice and enjoyable, he guided us splendidly. I highly recomend him. Very professional, kind and reliable.

    It was amazing and I would recommend people go there.
    Sunset cruise. I had a good time in the cruise. They provided us with free flow of orang juice and kek lapis. Oran utan conservatory was a good experience. They were so lany oran utan came out.

    Frogs everywhere
    The tour was amazing. We found so many types of frogs really difficult to see, as the Asian horned frog. Our guide, Cornellius, is an expert, attentive and very professional. We are two Biologist friends and enjoyed very much the experience. The tour could take place inside the jungle too, but walking on the road makes it confortable and available for everybody. Great experience.

    a day out with the family
    a trip to the fairy and wind caves great views was put into perspective when I slipped over even though I had good protective shoes on was lucky to only bruise my bottom banged my head but missed the concrete step which could have hospitalised me I wouldn't recommend this trip as health and safety goes well out the window if I had needed emergency services got no idea how they would had got me through a tight spot on a stretcher

    Worthwhile glimpse of longhouse layout
    We enjoyed this short visit to the longhouse that provided an interesting snapshot of both modern and traditional ways of life for this Bidayuh community at Annah Rais. The tour operator company was flexible and our guide was friendly. We appreciate this experience overall and are keen to learn more about other longhouses and tribes, and we hope our family and Kuching locals visit as well!

    DO NOT VISIT THIS DREADFUL FACILITY WHICH IS CLEARLY A ZOO!
    We had the misfortune to visit this 'Rehabilitation' centre - we are both avid wildlife lovers who treasure our visits to Borneo. However, this was the worst experience
    we have ever had.
    All of the animals are contained within small confining, filthy enclosures with no
    visible signs of any form of enrichment. Indeed, one female Orang escaped from
    her enclosure assisted by one of the male Orangs the day we visited. We can hardly
    blame her.
    I cannot believe that anyone that works here is happy with the environment that these poor animals and birds are kept in. It is shocking - do not support this awful
    venue.

    Do not book with Air Waily.
    DO NOT BOOK! I was left stranded at the pickup point because they never picked me up. Numerous phone calls to the local contact number went unanswered both by me and the hotel where I was supposed to be picked up. He also never responded to the inquiries through the booking app.
