A great guide whose knowledge was excellent. I saw the orangutans so close and watched them appear from the jungle, feed and return. Well worth the trip!

I had a great guide for this visit, very well experienced and with the best information of the place, flexible and considering all the time my well being.

100% recommended, the guide was named Jason, he is able to explain everything about a very rich amd complex culture in Borneo, Sarawak, Kuching and the parks

Fantastic jungle. But the trails Were over crowded and our tour group of 21 meant it was very hard to hear anything from the guide. Guide shared the absolute minimum information so I would not say enriching visit. Good if you want to look but not if you want to learn anything. There is an issue of plastic garbage everywhere, at low tide you can see the plastic caught up in the vegetation, lots around the buildings, and even watched the wild pigs eating it out front of the cafeteria. I wish I brought a bag to collect garbage as i feel tourists should contribute to the solution. Driver was good and company easy to communicate with. Lunch was satisfying.

This is a "must do" tour if you're visiting Kuching! We had the amazing Lucian as our guide and he was kind, informative, and an all around joy to be around. He shared a lot about local Kuching history and knows all about local flora and fauna. On our tour we spotted countless frogs, as well as geckos, lizards, a tarantula, and two civets! We had an incredible time and would absolutely book this tour again. If you have enough time, it's probably even worth it to go on multiple nights as you never know what you'll see.

The Gunung Gading National Park is a beautiful place, but you need to take the time to enjoy it. Sadly, there were no giant Rafflesia flowers in bloom when we visited, but our park guide, Antonia, made up for that completely. Her enthusiasm and her wealth of knowledge were a joy, and we learned a great deal. She took us off the beaten track and her sharp eyes spotted things that we'd never have seen without her. It was three hours of magical rainforest discovery. Well worth the visit.

This was a wonderful experience! Lucien picked us up from our hotel and we drove around an hour to the Bengoh Dam. From there we took a boat to the jetty where we started the hike to the waterfalls. The hike itself was very nice. Lucien stopped along the way to show us plants and explain their properties. The Jurassic waterfall was one of the prettiest we ever saw. After the hike, we had a short 20-min walk to the homestay. Mr Kuek and his family were extremely nice and warm to us. They made us delicious food from locally grown and sourced produce.
I would highly recommend this experience. Thank you Lucien😊

I came to Kuching expressly to see this Orangutan Centre and was not disappointed.
I booked through "Ooo Haa Adventure Tours" and the cost was 125RM.
Collected from Ranee Hotel (this was close to where I was actually staying) in a minivan with 6 other travelers. Takes minimum of about 45 minutes to get there and the guide arranges your entry ticket and a ride on a motor train to get to the feeding site.
After a brief introductory talk by a ranger the food is laid out on a feeding platform, and you wait in anticipation.
We saw 5 orangutans (very large male, a smaller male, a juvenile male and a mother and baby - OMG - so excited and privileged.
Apparently, it is sometimes very "hit and mis" as to whether the animals indulge us with their presence and the people who came for the morning feeding session only saw 2 orangutans (but two is infinitely preferable to none).
No complaints about anything - I loved the experience and was thankful to/for the Ooo Haa Adventure Tour.

Kubah is amazing with all kind of frog species especially the Long Nose Horned Frog. The frog pond area is the climax. U can’t imagine how many and closed they are. The tour guide is so skillful to find them. The walk is simple and lucky no rains.
