- markscuraSydney, Australia45 contributions5th time now at this track and nothing has changed I love it. I have been to tracks all over Europe and this is still my favourite. It is well run with great access from the centre of kl.
It’s also great value for money with good viewing. It’s very hot and humid and gets crowded but this is Asia.
I will be back next year!Written 23 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not to pack mall. Lots of premium brands and discounts. You're bound to find something you fancy. We didn't leave empty hands, quite full actually.Written 28 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. To our surprise they were well worth a look . Lots of Brands available. Well presented and easy to get around . Plenty of places to eat at if hungry . There is a free shuttle from Airport which takes about 10 minutes . It runs about every 20 minutes . Outside of airport near gate 2 there is a sign for shuttle . A good place to fill in a couple of hours if in transit .Written 7 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Go_Home_JamesSingapore, Singapore52 contributionsEasy access from KL Sentral to KLIA2 via Ekspres, and quick check in and immigration clearance. Lots of dinning options “public side” but once you pass through security clearance the options are woeful! 😔 I get that airports have been through tough times and so too good outlets, but a bit of warning for the lack of options currently on the “airside” would be useful!Written 16 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AFAK25Jeddah, Saudi Arabia3,650 contributionsThe Golden Lounge went through refurbishment during the Covid period and the refreshed business lounge now promises better experience for MH business class travellers.
The noodles station has always been my favourite and the first port of call whenever I use the lounge. Laksa Sarawak is my favourite even though lately I realised the taste has not been consistent.
The upgraded toilet is a pleasure to use. Each cubicle has its own wash basin and lots of hooks and space for clothing and bags. There are also shower rooms should one need to use one before boarding the plane.
It is a silent lounge meaning that no flight announcements will be made but plenty of screens showing flight boarding status are placed throughout the lounge.Written 3 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bipul RKogarah, Australia3 contributionsNeed to improve on food quality. Very limited choice of drinks for a busy place. Staffs seems ok. Again Food needs to upgrade and service people needs to put a smile in their face. Seems they Don't know how to smile. A tight face doesn’t give a good vibe about the place.Written 19 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff were always smiling and happy to assist with any requests. I had accidentally booked the lounge in the domestic section of the airport and the front desk were able to amend my booking. Between 2 am and 4 am the lounge was less busy and I tried to catch some sleep. Unfortunately, one of the kitchen staff was quite loud. The shower facility was clean and I enjoyed the shower after a long 8 hours flight.
The food was nothing to rave about and the menu remained unchanged for the most part of my stay. However, they did have a different spread for breakfast offering both local and western style foods.
The one negative comment I have is for cleanliness. I first noticed small fly like insects in the men's room and then at the breakfast bench. During breakfast I was able to take a photo of one inside my orange juice glass (l have shared the photo below).
Overall I think the lounge is good value for money (I booked through Viator website). I understand it's more expensive if you pay at the door. Will I go back? Certainly, but I hope they can get rid of the flies.Written 21 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There's not much to do in the Sepang area so if you are looking for things to do, this could be an option.Written 4 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Georgio Valentino RayalaHyderabad, India17,215 contributionsThis review is of the Garage store located in a quiet corner of KLIA2. It is a small outlet located next to the iGadget store and has a interesting collection of gift items. The owner is also very welcoming and interactive. You can get very unusual and vintage style gift items here.Written 30 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Manickjg1,388 contributionsI usually use the KLIA Limo service when I head to KLIA2 from Petaling Jaya. Their drivers are usually good and reliable. Get their business card so you can call them direct but they will still charge the KLIA Limo price and give you a receipt so that it's all legal. It offers good service and I would recommend them.Written 13 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kalyan NagelliMelbourne, Australia245 contributionsWe have booked the premium service of cab at KLIA2 on 5th Dec 2018 to reach the hotel in KL city. It was supposed to be a premium service but the drive picked up in a pathetic car which was not maintained properly and mid-way he took detour and asked us to swap into a different car which was relatively better compared to the first car that we got into. They charged me around 120 RM which was good 30-40% more than what grab will charge for the airport service.Written 21 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
