Zack was friendly and full of interesting tit-bits of information. We had a great time! My favourite was the laksa and the pancakes. So good!

The 4 hours flew by! Learning from beginning to end, we tasted perhaps 20 dishes in total. It's given me a really good grounding in Malaysian Street food. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Very enjoyable. Guide was prompt and very personable. Comprehensive foot tour of the area we met with explanations, tastings and further recommendations along the way.
The guide was not the original one booked, but no complaints at all. Unfortunately we didn’t retain his name.

An amazing culinary experience with the best of the local street / Hawker centre food Malay, Chinese and Indian. Our local foody and guide Karson took us to local off the beaten track food markets. Fare included noodles, the best nasi lemak, fish soup, and the special roti tissue. If you truly want local authentic Malaysian specialties this is the tour for you

Harry was informative, funny and helpful while driving around the various sights. Parking was a problem so after intro, I would spend time at some of the places. I enjoyed the tour because it gave a great perspective of the city at night.

The cooking class was amazing!! We were taken care of every step of the way by Saadia and Irene. My friend wasn't feeling well so she didn't come but Saadia and Irene graciously cooked for her so that we could bring her something. We made delicious food ( a chicken curry, a delicous dessert, and Roti ). Everything was very clean, well organized, well explained, and overall very fun. The chefs taught us many cultural things as we cooked.
    Overall 10/10 recommend!

I had booked the Kuala Selnangor fireflies, batu cave temple and Melawati hill tour. It included pick up and drop from hotel, dinner and entry tickets. It is quite reasonably priced. Our guide Mr Muraly was a knowledgeable guide, he gave us a background of the various places we visited. As I'm vegetarian, he helped arrange a veg dinner for me at a sea food restaurant :). The car arranged was clean and comfortable, the drive was great. Overall, i really enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend the services provided by Asni tours & travel & Mr Muraly.

Perfect experience for the first days of your visit! Great overview about the city centre with some interesting informations. You will get a super friendly, English speaking guide and visit some nice places by bike with local food stops and „hidden“ places.

    Would book again! Definitely recommended!

I had the incredible experience of being introduced to the most delicious cuisines of Malaysia through the eyes and expertise of Pauline from Simply Enak. Not only was she knowledge on the origins of the foods, but she was passionate about finding only the best of each item across the city, including remote food stands, and hawkers markets. She is a real foodie and has a great sense of humor and passion when it comes to eating, cooking, and enjoying life! I did not feel like I was on a tour. It was like I was traveling with one of my friends and having breakfast, lunch, and dinner, over and over again, and enjoying every moment and every bite. We had many laughs and great conversations and I got to try everything on my list plus so much more! I also love the fact that whatever we could not finish she put in takeaway boxes to donate to the less fortunate. Nothing was waisted. I highly recommend this tour. I did two days with her and I will be back for more as there are so many more delicious dishes to try!

It was such a pleasure to visit Ms. Sara's kitchen and garden. We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class and the wider experience.

We cooked Hokkien Mee, Chicken Rendang and Fish Curry. We started with picking some of the ingredients from the vegetable garden and then moved into the kitchen. Both of us were pleassantly surprised with the taste of our own efforts!

The class was extremely well-prepared. All utensils were ready and there was an excellent cookbook to help guide us. Ms. Sara was very accommodating with our dietary needs (one of us doesn't eat meat).

    Absolutely recommended!

If you stumble across this review then you are very lucky, because you too now have the opportunity to join this tour.
We traveled to KL as a family of four and wanted to do something different, we wanted to see the city through different eyes, and not part of a big touristy group. This ticked ever box.

We were picked up at our hotel at 7pm by Michelle and Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours - their local knowledge is incredible but spontaneous and so not scripted. They drove us to ’Queens’ restaurant which is over 60 years old and is basically a street food hub where locals eat and have done forever. The food is cooked on carts surrounding the venue. Michelle ordered everything and it was DELICIOUS! The Sate’s and Pork Buns were the best we have ever eaten. We would normally be to scared to eat in a place like this, but honestly we just trusted them and never once felt nervous about trying everything.

After dinner Wesley drove us through the city in the comfy van, he and Michelle pointed things out - big and small, told us funny stories, and treated us like old friends. We hopped in and out, taking photos and asking questions which tbdu had answers for every time.

For supper we went to a traditional Malaysian Indian 24 hour cafe called Pelita. We all thought there was no way we could possibly eat anything but once again Michelle ordered for us and we finished the night of with traditional cold milky tea sweet Indian rotis and something that I can only describe as one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten a roti tissue. Now we were bursting but very happily so!!!

Michelle and Wes dropped us back to our hotel at about 10.30. We were do impressed with them both we asked about doing something else with them during the day. Michelle quickly arranged a day trip which I will cover in another review, yes it was also incredible so make sure you read it too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to you both, Golden Blossom Tours are lucky to have you as guides!!

This was the highlight of my trip to KL! Absolutely loved this cooking class, everything was perfectly arranged and the food we prepared was delicious! The driver picked us up at our hotel in time and we went to a wet market to meet our chefs and have breakfast. Irene and Zeera were expecting us at the market and gave us a nice tour of the main stalls, showing and explaining the main spices and ingredients use in Malaysian kitchens. Breakfast consisted in a freshly made roti canai and Teh tarik (hot and strong milk tea), both very good! We then went to the beautiful cooking school (typical wooden Malaysian house surrounded by nature) to meet Ana, our cooking Chef teacher for the day! Ana was spectacular and the cooking class truly hands on. She made us feel comfortable and explained not only how to cook delicious food (we made 3 dishes) but also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this experience, thank you Ana, Irene and Zeera for a beautiful day!
