We have done the day time hop on hop off bus tours before in KL but the night light tour was new. The selection of lights were the most famous - KL Tower, Petronas Towers, King’s Palace, British Colonial Buildings.
Overseas visitors paid more for the tour than Malaysian’s but the locals got all the seats in the open section of the bus.
Hence trying to take photos was difficult through the windows due to the reflection.
Also, it was stated if you left your seat anytime, anyone could take it, so no one in the open section of the bus got off at any of the sites. Overseas visitors had to get off the bus to take decent photos.
The advantage of the tour was the convenience of being taken to the sites rather than catching a taxi or grab.
A better idea would be to have two buses one for locals and one for overseas visitors.

The most fun activity we did on our trip to KL. Fizah welcomed us and made time for us, in spite of an initial scheduling problem. Her laid back friendly and relaxed style was combined with excellent guidance on Malaysian cuisine, so we were able to conjure the most amazing and delicious curry laksa and mango sticky rice. All fresh and fragrant ingredients. We also got to meet Roman and so enjoyed hearing about their passions for Malaysia’s environment, their walking and cycling treks, their fundraising for children with cancer. After eating and talking together, we left and later binge-watched Fizah and Roman’s fun YouTube videos on cooking and travelling. All part of a very special Malaysian experience.

TK was amazing from beginning to end. He brought us to try so many different foods and flavors that are local to the area. While walking between each food spot, he would give tidbits in the culture, stop at photo spots, or point out additional delicious food spots for us to try on our own later.

Overall, I highly recommend for anyone considering booking a food tour. There is simply no way to know, sample, and find all these food spots without a local guide who has tried them all!

We were a group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 teenagers and had a great night out with Karlson. One member of our group had a number of allergies and Karlson was extremely careful and checked and planned all the locations prior to the tour commencing. We tried a number of different foods that we wouldn't have tried if we were travelling without a guide and were extremely full by the end of the tour. Karlson even took us for a spot of sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this tour company and if you get Karlson as your guide you will have a fantastic night out.

This tour was the surprise highlight of our KL trip! My girlfriend and I had such a memorable time with Dass/Kelvin as we explored the city center by bike. The Vespa ride through the crowded streets of KL was fun and at certain points thrilling as we weaved through the traffic. Dass/Kelvin kept us safe during the entirety of the ride. We were able to enjoy the city lights and attractions at night, when the weather was cooler and there was less people. We went to spots both local and tourist in nature, spots with rich history, spots we wouldn’t have seen without their guidance. Dass/Kelvin helped to give us a better appreciation of the diverse culture, history and food scene present in KL. Much thanks to these two for the experience! We would
recommended it to anyone looking to explore the city limits!

We started with an optional tour of a Malay market where all our food for the days cooking was purchased. I also had a breakfast of Roti and milk tea.

At the school, we recreated the national dishes from all their component parts.

Great personalised tour conducted by our friendly guide, Aris. Took in lots of sights, from the slightly chaotic Chinatown market to the spectacular Petronas Towers. Caught up in severe traffic congestion on the way to Chinese temple, due to Chinese new year celebration but Aris worked an hour past his scheduled finish time to make sure that we caught all the sights on the programme, which was much appreciated.

Fantastic tour that took us to some hidden gems in Kuala Lumpur. We discovered fantastic little speakeasy’s and great food spots. The highlight was a street food dinner in Chinatown that was incredibly good. Would highly recommend.

If you stumble across this review then you are very lucky, because you too now have the opportunity to join this tour.
We traveled to KL as a family of four and wanted to do something different, we wanted to see the city through different eyes, and not part of a big touristy group. This ticked ever box.

We were picked up at our hotel at 7pm by Michelle and Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours - their local knowledge is incredible but spontaneous and so not scripted. They drove us to ’Queens’ restaurant which is over 60 years old and is basically a street food hub where locals eat and have done forever. The food is cooked on carts surrounding the venue. Michelle ordered everything and it was DELICIOUS! The Sate’s and Pork Buns were the best we have ever eaten. We would normally be to scared to eat in a place like this, but honestly we just trusted them and never once felt nervous about trying everything.

After dinner Wesley drove us through the city in the comfy van, he and Michelle pointed things out - big and small, told us funny stories, and treated us like old friends. We hopped in and out, taking photos and asking questions which tbdu had answers for every time.

For supper we went to a traditional Malaysian Indian 24 hour cafe called Pelita. We all thought there was no way we could possibly eat anything but once again Michelle ordered for us and we finished the night of with traditional cold milky tea sweet Indian rotis and something that I can only describe as one of the most delicious things we've ever eaten a roti tissue. Now we were bursting but very happily so!!!

Michelle and Wes dropped us back to our hotel at about 10.30. We were do impressed with them both we asked about doing something else with them during the day. Michelle quickly arranged a day trip which I will cover in another review, yes it was also incredible so make sure you read it too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to you both, Golden Blossom Tours are lucky to have you as guides!!
