We cooked a curry Laksa and Gula Melaka with Fizal in her kitchen. Lovely space with cute cats for company! Attention to detail is really good and nothing is rushed. There is a fun atmosphere and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about Malaysian cooking!

We started with an optional tour of a Malay market where all our food for the days cooking was purchased. I also had a breakfast of Roti and milk tea.

At the school, we recreated the national dishes from all their component parts.

It was so much fun cooking with Sarah and here mom and I especially liked that we where invited to cook in their actual family home and kitchen. It was hands on, practically from scratch so we walked away with not only a nice lunch of homemade Laksa and Yong tau fu but also the ability of cook these delicious treats at home for our family and friends. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful morning!
