Sara is a great teacher and chef. She shares so much of her knowledge of Malaysian cooking during the class. Then she sent a follow-up email after the class with notes on cooking and shopping tips so we could focus on cooking while we were in the class. We also got a recipe booklet to take home.

We made several dishes but the nasi lemak and the fried chicken were my favorites. I am so happy to have those recipes.

We had Saadiah for our cooking class with kids (youngest was our 7 year old), and she is just wonderful. Very experienced and very knowledgeable, and fantastic with the kids. We all had a great time and learnt a lot from her. Definitely recommend!

Had an amazing experience meeting and cooking with Fizah and Roman. The lesson included shopping at a local market, which I really appreciated, because sometimes knowing where to find the right specialized ingredients is the most intimidating part of learning to cook a new cuisine.

Fizah made sure that we understood the purpose and unique flavours of each ingredient and gave us the opportunity to do each step of the prep and cooking process ourselves. Her instructions were clear and easy to digest. The recipe was very suitable for a first time cooking Nasi Lemak and something I feel confident about being able to replicate at home.

The best part of the experience was Fizah and Roman's hospitality. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lot of laughter and enjoyable conversation during our cooking experience. Fizah and Roman have both lived lives full of incredible adventures and they both have some truly amazing stories to share.

Fizah went above and beyond by capturing photos and videos of our experience so that we could focus on cooking. The next day, she and Roman compiled our experience into a single video perfectly suited for sharing on social media and sent us all of the videos and photos they had taken, as well as the Nasi Lamek recipe we'd used the day before.

Highly recommend! If you're in KL for a few days or longer, this cooking class is one of the best things you can do with your time, either as a solo traveler or one or more friends.

Leave enough time in your schedule to properly enjoy this experience. Fizah and Roman very clearly take ensuring a positive experience for each and every guest quite seriously and you won't feel squeezed into a time-slot. The four and half hour activity time is definitely legimate and you won't feel rushed at all.
