The is the Royal Palace for the King. You can drive up to the entrance and look through the gates. You can get your picture with the guards and you can pet their horses! The parking lot has a bathroom.

Nestled amongst the skyscrapers and malls of KLCC is this hidden Historical gem.

Originally lived in by a local Headsman, his 4 wives and numerous children, in a small village in the Northern part of Peninsula Malaysia, it was rescued, relocated and restored in 1996-1997, taking a week to dismantle and over a year to restore.

Arriving for the first tour on a Saturday morning I pleasantly surprised to be the only visitor and after watching an informative video on the history and restoration of the building it was time for the guided tour.

The gentleman intern and his colleague who undertook the tour were so friendly and informative throughout, pointing our interesting details and telling tales along the way. It really is a fascinating house. As well as being the village chief he was also judge & jailer and the building reflects that - I shan’t spoil any of the details as I urge you to visit and discover for yourself.

There is also a wee gift shop, garden and more exhibitions adding to the charm of the place.

In a busy city like Kuala Lumpar not only is The Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman a must for any culture or history buff but also a green and leafy space to enjoy some R&R amid the hustle & bustle. I do hope (& encourage) more people to visit but have to admit I did enjoy my VIP tour and look forward to visiting again.

Dropped off by our driver as having a day tour around Kuala Lumpur, a large green space is surrounded by old grand historical building including this one, didn’t go in but the area was a very busy tourist spot with coaches and taxis aplenty, nice colonial Tudor style building and a great spot to take photos.

Chin Woo Stadium is an old sports stadium located in Jalan Hang Jebat and close to other historical stadiums such as Merdeka Stadium and National Stadium (Stadium Negara). It is a common venue place for many events and activities associated with the Chinese community. Its main attraction is a 50m outdoor swimming pool which is famous among KLites who looking for a nice place to swim. Some facilities such as the shower and changing room as well as the washroom could be improved. Please bear in mind that there is no door at the shower place, so other people can see you changing and taking shower openly.

City Theatre-Panggung Bandaraya is the old City Hall built in the 1900s and converted to a theatre. It continues the Moghul theme in its architectural style and, as many of the fine colonial buildings here, was designed by the English architect A.B.Hubback.

This is a set of three administrative buildings originally belonging to FMS Railways. Built by the British at the end of the 19th century, it was gazetted as a heritage site in 1983. It is currently the home of the Kuala Lumpur Regional Arbitration Centre.

It is a historic club with a rich heritage. This building is a history because here UMNO establishments and various Malay-related congresses have been held. The Sultan of Selangor at that time granted the name Sultan Sulaiman as the name of the club.
