The silver monkeys were amazing, so soft, gentle and cute. Take food to feed them or buy there. Would love to see them again.

Dinner was nice, very fresh. The fish is still live and cooked on site.

Fireflies, I got bitten by mosquitoes so not so enjoyable, but saw lots of fireflies.

This place is a hidden gem only established in recent years. The experienced photographers coming along spent an hour taking great photos totally to your satisfaction. Friends seeing our photos are all surprised to the quality, the mirror effect.

This tour is a great option for a night.

Sri Shakti temple was a cool temple to visit, different from Sri Mariamman and Batu Caves that you'll see in other tours. Uniquely, it is not brightly painted like other Hindu temples. Very interesting to see.

Feeding/petting monkeys was a lot of fun; they are adorable and friendly. Costs maybe 1 or 2$ to buy food for them.

The restaurant was a Thai restaurant on the waterfront. We had sweet and sour fish, some kind of pork and vegetables, and fried rice (I'm guessing with Jasmine). Very, very good. It also allowed a fantastic view of the sunset.

We did not visit the lighthouse on Bukit Melawati. I'm not sure if it was from time constraints or some other factor. However, it hardly mattered as from the description of the tour, you can't go inside anyway.

The highlight of the tour was (of course) seeing the fireflies and the glowing water at night. I've never seen so many fireflies, nor have I seen water that glows as it goes into motion. I still don't know (and havene't researched) why it glows like that, but it's sure cool to see.

Finally, our tour guide Hery/Harry (not sure how to spell it, since we received emails from someone spelling it Hery) was a fantastic tour guide. Very funny and always joking. Excellent guide.

Very nice relaxing short evening cruise to nowhere. Simple juice n banana cake served onboard. Satay was available at RM10 for 5 sticks. Reasonable considering they BBQ it onboard.

The jacuzzi at the rear of the boat was somehow not too inviting. It was a rope netting held by some bars and u dip in it.

Kids loved running up n down the vessel.

Only done half of what they listed in the list of inclusions; we only did the chinese temple and orangutan island- we didn't get to do the guided tour of Ipoh and concubine alley.

The car window lever was broken off completely and so wasn't operational, the driver was sick and "didn't want to get out of the car because the change of temperature would make him sicker", there was a whole bulb of garlic which sat in the arm rest of the front seat and so the car reeked of garlic- I suspect he was eating it to help him overcome his illness. To make matters worse, because he was sick, he didn't want to put the AC down too low despite it being hot outside- it sat on 26.5 the whole time- which was too warm for us.

The list of inclusions stated we had a guide but there was none- just a driver....we actually found another guide on a similar tour and were asking him questions because our driver didn't come with us.

When we arrived at the 2 locations, all he said was "ill meet you at the other side" there was no general information, no insights into places, no directions as to how to get around, nothing.... there were 3 car parks at the temple and we weren't sure where to go, it took us about 15-20 minutes to figure out where "the other side" was.

The whole time, the driver was rushing- and when he stopped for lunch and to get the tickets into orangutan island- he was literally running, you could tell he just wanted to finish the tour off as soon as possible. We paid $560AUD for the tour, I wouldn't have paid $150 for it, I felt seriously ripped off. The total amount of time we were actually on the tour outside of travelling would have only added up to roughly 1.5h- I would have gotten more value from a cab driver for 1/2 the amount.

I actually booked this tour through Viator, and when Viator confronted Shajasa Travel and Tours, they made up lies and made excuses for everything above and refused to admit any fault.

I would not recommend this tour company to anyone unless you wanted to get ripped off, I honestly cant believe that they have so many positive reviews because I don't have anything positive to say about this tour.

When you visit Putrajaya do not forget to avail the boat tour. This gives a chance to have a look at the beautiful bridges and the building surrounding the lake. The lake is manmade and there is tour guide on the cruise who explains in bilingual the details of the structures.
