Located within the heart of KL inside the Sungei Wang shopping centre (1st floor, just beside Daiso). Easy access via public transport. Covers a fairly large area. One can easily spend a couple of hours admiring these tiny detailed works of art housed within different areas (A copy of a map will be given once ticket is purchased). The food related, kampungs and shophouses dioramas are fantastic. Everything is jaw droppingly intricate and beautiful. Bring your camera and charger just in case! An adult ticket costs only RM25 which is very reasonable. When I was there I happened to chat to Chan, one of the creators of Minnature who is happy to provide information about the exhibit. Highly recommended for all, a truly hidden gem in KL.

This was a solo trip. Rm52 on weekday. It was quite good to see sharks etc minus the constant screaming of excitement coming from kids, overall it was fine. Theres welcome pic taken of u where u r required to take off mask. The pics cost RM80 above. Good experience but felt the overall trip is quite short n can be done less than an hour. Somehow i remember the trip used to be more exciting many years ago.

Didnt know there was live feeding by the divers. When i resched it was already the end and no mention was made as to whens the next.

Malayan Pewter, Selangor Pewter Malaya, Selangor Pewter Malaysia, Selangor Pewter, Royal Selangor Pewter - The evolution and history of what is today famously known as Royal Selangor is just some of the takeaways you will come to be familiar with after completing the guided tour at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre. Tucked away in the suburbs of Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, this venue effecfively simultaneously achieves being a museum, a manufacturing factory, an exhibition centre and souvenir shop.

The interior is very well kept (including bathrooms) and our guided tour experience (which I highly recommend) led by the impressive Ravi left us with a deeper awareness of Royal Selangor's rich history and a great deal of appreciation for the level of craftsmanship that goes into their pewter products; the vast majority are molded and created by hand. Swing by on weekdays to see more of the factory in action.

With parking fees skyrocketing in shopping malls and crowd levels returning to pre-pandemic times, the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre is a fantastic alternative for both tourists and locals alike. The guided tour (or self guided if you prefer) and parking is free and the cafe inside serves up good food at reasonable prices.

Growing up in the 90s, the Royal Selangor brand was synonymous with pricey goods and the pride of the nation. Fast forward to today and upon spending time at the souvenir shop, you can definitely find many practical items at various price points. Pop culture based pewter such as Marvel, Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars and others are definitely worth checking out while sister companies Comyns and Selberan cater to more upscale clientele.

As with most companies, I can't imagine how badly Royal Selangor was impacted by the pandemic and I hope they're able to find their feet again. With almost 150 years of history to their name, I hope this family owned business can still thrive and uphold their quality over time. This visitor center is a good way to showcase the best of Malaysia and exceeded my expectations. I'd easily recommend checking out this place.

Luxury brands in a luxury setting made shopping @Pavilion KL such a delightful experience. We found all the brands we wanted to browse through in this one fabulous location. I was happy to find me what I wanted!!! Happy Shopper!!!

Pavilion rivals many luxury shopping centers in Asia and the U.S. Would love to go back there in a future trip, this time with my family!

An absolute must-visit when one has a morning or an afternoon to spare in Kuala Lumpur.
The location is a ten minute drive from the city centre and this beautifully designed building houses a handsome collection of some of the most gorgeous & precious Islamic art & artifacts from all over the world from as early as, I believe, the 15th century.

After many months of lockdown and no shopping we were delighted to have gone shoe shopping at Mid-Valley. I was very pleased with the strict SOP followed at each establishment that we went into. The personnel checking at the entrance of each shop helped me believe that we can slowly live with this and follow all that is necessary, safe and to get back our lives.

The Central Market is an eclectic mix of souvenirs, art everywhere you look and Batik all housed in a beautiful old building full of character.

Unfortunately due to covid there are a lot of empty shop fronts, however I am positive when international tourists return this place will bounce back to it's former glory.

Definitely worth a look when in KL!

Good museum, especially the Colonial section. We didn't allow long enough so will return another time. The air conditioning wasn't working when we visited so it was a bit uncomfortable. Most of the staff were very helpful and it was nice that you can get out without being forced through the gift shop!

Very useful linkway bridge to connect from Pavillon Mall to KLCC. Feel pretty safe to walk in the daytime. Avoid all the traffic jam too.

Overall good experience. However the management should place more signs for direction to the exhibition. Currently they emphasise too much on operation of the cafe.

Well maintained Hindu temple didn't go inside but it is quite small. Good photography spot as the street isn't that busy.
