Interesting tour that you don’t see often. A factory that makes pewter and tin objects but you actually get to see the whole factory and the process, etc. it was not very long but it was very interesting to me and I’m kind of a gearhead. Our tour guide was very thorough and extremely happy to explain anything we did not understand. A very nice tour.

This is a must visit if you’re interested in art.
The museum was beautifully curated with jewellery, weapons, textiles, books and ceramics among others, beautifully laid out in large spacious rooms.
Really good detailed information in English as well.
The highlight was the special calligraphy exhibition which currently occupies the first 2 floors, one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
The shop is lovely too.. shame I didn’t have space in my luggage as I could have happily purchased half the shop!!!

Upscale luxury mall with many of the most expensive international brands. 5 mins walk from MRT and monorel stations on Bukit Bintang (the luxury area of KL city centre)
Beautifully laid out, spotless and calm. Some lovely restaurants and 5* cafes for an elevated experience, particularly useful if it is super hot outside and you want to cool off for a while.
Basement food court is the place to go - amazing range of very high quality food stalls and kept spotlessly clean. I would recommend as a way to introduce yourself to the various cuisines of Malaysia.

    Huge mall!
A lot of high end stores. Not for the budget traveller, but still some options for them also. Nice looking mall. Plenty of places to eat. Next to KLCC PARK and right under the Petronas towers.

A great walkway above the road linking twin towers shopping centre to Bukit bintang and the hotels between. Safe air conditioned sign posted.

The market is air conditioned and pleasant to walk around. Lots of local artisan stalls and restaurants. Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
    Worth a visit.

Enjoyed the experience as I was able to visit the various exhibits at the aquarium. Only thing that wasn’t that good was that there was certain areas that was warm despite having the portable AC.

Would recommend going on a weekday morning during non public holiday/ school holiday period to avoid the crowd.

This was one of the stops in Central Market area and the first Indian Temple visit for this trip in KL. It actually was quieter inside than I expected.

They were very strict with ensuring no shoes were worn inside or even carried in the hands or inside a bag. A bunch of carts were in front selling various combinations of offerings for the temple.

Once inside we walked through two floors. The first floor was very bright with colorful tiles, gold trims used throughout. On the second floor, the windows gave views of the statues mounted on the rooftop.

We spent about 15 minutes inside.

We had enjoyed a rather rushed visit to this museum while on shore excursion and it was our first attraction to visit on this trip. Four galleries to explore and featuring Malayan history and cultural diversity, Pre-historic era, Malay kingdoms and Colonial period. Exhibits are very well curated and provide a brief but fascinating insight of the country. The building is attractive, I'm told built in the style of Rumah Gadang with curved roof structures and multi-tiered, upswept gables and comprising elements of traditional Malay and modern features. External exhibits include a pink & white mini bus and small steam locomotive.

This mall is worth a visit if you enjoy your shopping and want to explore the different malls of KL. While a bit further out from KLCC where many tourists stay, it is still easy to reach via public transport or taxi/Grab. The mall is big with a good variety of stores and decent places to eat, though not as extensive as some other malls like Pavilion. With that said, give this place a visit if you like malls.

Located in Merdaka Square, the main draw seems to be the I Love KL sign out in front. However, there was a much better sign located on the second floor but not in red.

On the first floor was a small diorama of KL, a room cataloguing history of KL as well as a busy cafe and gift shop.

The second floor was much quieter so don’t miss it. Here was a much larger 3D model of the greater KL city in one large room, a wall with details about the tall buildings in KL, an angel wings wall (for IGs), a cool floating model of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
