A really fabulous museum of Islamic art in all aspects. It deals very well with varying time period is and especially geographies. I especially enjoyed the exhibit on mosque architecture and it's variations. This is museum I could happily revisit multiple times.
Wonderful shopping mall in Bukit Pintang area. Multi- story mall, most branded, food court and many restaurants and cafes scattered here and there. Don’t miss a tasty burger from Five Guys.
Very Interesting, Fun and Colourful Day Visiting this Place. We visited every corner of this place and were very impressed at the layout, care, and accessibility to many of the Birds... Great Experience
A very vibrant and bright attack on the senses. From the aroma of delightful Asian dishes to the not so pleasant waft of durian fruit. This place has you covered for any number of food choices. And the location is very central to the city, we stayed at the parkroyal and this was only a few minutes walk. Though cutting through some back lane ways did make the wife nervous. Stick to the main streets, well lit and plenty of security.
It was a nice mall. Lot of options to choose from. They even had indian food options at their food court. We also saw a movie at tgv cinemas. The mall was over crowded the day we visited probably because it was a holiday. They were running very few promotions. There is section where there are only luxury makeup stores, really loved that but unfortunately most stores were stocked out.
Absolutely beautiful! A huge hemple with so much to see and learn about Chinese culture/religion. Free to visit and dress code is relaxed but modesty is expected.
This is an old building once central to the city between the maly Chinese and Indian population recently restored from a derelict state to house a modern mall with interesting shops both inside and just outside
Interesting and informative visit. Many specimens and displays. Quite busy but not overcrowded with no time limit for your experience. Well laid out with glass tunnel through the aquarium.
This was I’ve of my favourite activities in three weeks in SE Asia. The batik was fascinating and great fun but it’s the interaction with Emilia that made it so much fun. She’s hilarious, warm and welcoming. Definitely no hard sell. Her work is astonishing and available to purchase at very reasonable prices if you choose to. I contacted her via WhatsApp to arrange a time which worked out really well. I paid when I got there (she also has credit card facilities). The studio is on the ground floor of her house so you feel like you’ve almost made a friend by the time you leave.
The new Panda Eyes multistore dominates the sleepier stretch of this short street where most tourists will find themselves. For classier shopping there is Pavilion at the other end and many restaurants in between. The popular outdoor food court is down a lane among the budget accomodation.
