What travellers are saying
- Jeffrey DStarkville, MS2,138 contributionsThe Mercado is the best place to experience the full array of foods, fruits and vegetables available in Brazil. It does get crowded on the weekends and you do need to keep an eye on wallet and cell phone security around the crowds. Even more so if you visit shops on the surrounding streets. If you have time to eat, go upstairs in the main building and brave the lines to get a table in one of the restaurants. Recommend a mortadella sandwich or a pastel to go with your chopp.Written 1 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michael ULas Vegas, NV41,108 contributionsAs one of the most luxurious shopping malls in Sao Paulo, JK Iguatemi features all the expected international brands like Prada and Louis Vuitton as well as Brazilian designers like Schutz. Pricey, but also fun for bargain hunters, the mall is dotted with security cards and a nice diversion during rainy weather. Those seeking sustenance will find several restaurants on site and for something special to take home Maria Brigadeiro is a must.Written 1 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MitsukoShigeeda🌴👒🍽🍷☕🇧🇷Jundiai, SP139,851 contributionsIt is a luxury mall, very well maintained, clean and very, very beautiful. I remember going many years ago with a friend to buy a pair of shoes and a scarf to compose a look for my brother's wedding. All the Christmas ornaments were beautiful! Undoubtedly it is one of the best and most beautiful malls in São Paulo. A very safe shopping mall, and the staff are very friendly and help you locate the shops and restaurants you are looking for. Grade 10.Written 28 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nader SBelgrade, Serbia47 contributionsIt is very crowded for an small and narrow street. The cars still pass through with all the crowds walking there since there is no space left on the side walk. You see Japaneses are making real Japaneses food there and is very good. There are chines, Koreans, stores and restaurants, ice cream shops, and normal stores .Written 4 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ScharLos Angeles, CA96 contributionsNo words to describe this mall. It's one of the most romantic places I've been. High end filled with the most luxurious brands. It was made after the Bal Harbour in Miami, open air with lots of beautiful trees and neat decor. Choose to dine at the rooftop restaurants overlooking the city on a clear night- magical.Written 17 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MoMon72Toronto, Canada30 contributionstheir antique market on Saturdays is not bad at all. Picked up a few things for the house. It's not touristy at all but a nice local market which gives a nice glimpse into the vibe of this massive city.Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bruna @ I Heart BrazilSao Paulo, SP13 contributionsWe went to the Yayoi Kusama exhibition and it was excellent! Well organized, easy to follow the route, and the best part, it was free. Because of that, you might want to arrive early to avoid long lines. Recommend it!Written 3 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- itzyamieSeoul, South Korea81 contributionsA very busy and culturally mixed region where skaters, rock, metal and alternative individuals can find souvenirs and goodies related to these categories. There are about 6 floors, although not all shops are open (at least when i was there) Items are relatively cheap and although many shops are similar, there're gems to be found!Written 1 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- annymagenisSao Paulo, SP13 contributionsI completely love this mall. It‘s a pleasant and beautiful place, with excellent restaurants, movies, theater and amazing stores. I live in the neighborhood and I don‘t need to go to another mall. Things there are a little bit expensive but this is related to the location and good brands that are sold in the mall.Written 3 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nelson CSalvador, BA1,208 contributionsThis is a small, manageable shopping to explore. Lots of stores, but specially a great place for lunch. Several small restsurants to choose from. We enjoyed the Turkish place, with great raw meet, cabbage raps, hot soup, dry yogurts and Turkish coffee.

- ClevlanderSpringfield, IL4,678 contributionsIn Brazil a Mall is more than a place to shop, its a social and gathering place with restaurants, bars, movie theaters and of course shops and stores. Cidad São Paulo is no exception, great places to eat (I recommend Andiamo and order the Eggplant Parmigiana) and high end shops. An interesting place to see and be seen and learn about the modern Brazilian way of life.Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Luiz LSao Paulo, SP91 contributionsThis is a very nice and cozy small shopping centre with many restaurants, assorted shops and a pretty good Carrefour supermarket. Parking is free (up to a 4-hour period) for supermartket goers, depending on the amount spent.Written 27 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- David_R_SilvaSão Paulo, Sp785 contributionsIt is an icon of São Paulo architecture (not necessarily beautiful) with various options of food, cafés, bookstores and small shops. The hallways often hold temporary exhibitions of collectibles, photography, artwoks, etc. The best bookstore in town is here (Livraria Cultura) with 3 branches (art & travel, general interest and geek stuff).Written 16 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
