    Very nice walk and view
    It is 30 mins walk from international hot spring hotel. Very nice easy walk. You end up on a high point where there was a british security point in a.spot that oversees the whole oasis.

    We loved it but the ruins are not impressive in themselves just the bit of history behind it.

    Bahariya oasis - historical sites
    It is a good idea to have a guide with a 4WD car to show you round the oasis. In fact, there are five monuments in the price of the museum ticket, all worth of visit. Besides that, the driver can you show round the oasis, which is quite big, including the Salty Lake, camel farm, English mountain, several hot springs etc. April is, however, not the best time to go, it may be windy and dusty (reduced visibility).

    Beautiful inspiring walk
    Wear closed shoes on these dust roads and plan a leisurely walk, enjoy the flora and quiet... This could take an hour and a half.

    Water in the desert!
    It was really amazing to visit this ancient spring and experience the cool fresh waters on a hot desert day. Al Haiz Oasis were expert Bedouin guides with nice 4x4 Landcruisers to cross the dunes and music!
