- Kylie CHong Kong, China95 contributionsVisited the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, Agabat Valley, and the Old and New White Desert. We’re amazed by the surreal scenery and the variety of landscapes in the area. Stargazing at night was incredible.
And Mohammed is the best tour guide, chef and photographer all in one. He grew up in this area, was passionate about his work, and spoke excellent English. He made a great dinner right in the middle of the desert, which was one of the best food I’ve had in Egypt! He helped us to take so many amazing pictures too. Ahmed, the driver who drove us from and back to Cairo, was professional and friendly as well.
It’s a 4 to 5-hour drive from Cairo to the staring point of the tour, but in the end I think it’s all worth it. We strongly recommend anyone to make this tour part of their stay in Egypt as the landscapes were totally out of this world!Hamada is very friendly, reliable and knowledgeable about the desert and Bedouins’ life. Everything was organized from our pick up in Cairo to the return on the following day. After a delicious lunch at Hamada’s house, we left for the black desert and crystal mountains, and some fun rides on the sand dunes. The campement in the white desert is absolutely amazing, and the sunset quite unique. After a diner and tea around the fire with traditional songs, we set up the mattresses in the desert to stargaze in complete silence… A very special moment for us all. Hamada, thank you so much again for this beautiful experience. We've been pickup up from the hostel in the area at the late morning and taken to a lovely tent to eat with other campers and socialize before going on the road. Our guide took us through wonderful landscapes and different experiences. He was friendly and patient. So many breathtaking sceneries in this journey. We've been given our own tent, saw the sun setting into the white desert, as well as the sunrise. Amazing. Fantastic food has been cooked and served to us, inclusive in the price. We spent 3 days and 2 nights - one in a large n well-equipped tent in the desert, and the other in an hotel where the room had a balcony with a breathtaking view over a forest of palm trees as far as the eye could see!
Regarding the trip in the deserts itself, it followed well-known routes where we came across other cars, but I suppose the timeline was too short to consider venturing off the beaten track. Yet, we experiment incredible, diversified and magical landscapes
The food was excellent, thanks to Ahmed, an English speaking guide who is a discreet person and went out of his way to ensure our experience.
We were allowed to stay longer at sites so we could get a feel for the place, rather than just taking a photo and going.

The salt lakes are one of the most famous places. The salt lakes and Fatnas Island and the safari. Ahmed was friendly and nice and the driver. I highly recommend going with Ahmed and you are reassured. - TouJ13 contributionsHany is a well-organised calm person who warmly welcomed us to the Bahariya Oasis. I tasted the best food in Egypt so far during our home-made lunch there. We felt welcomed, well at ease and safe throughout the whole trip across the black and white desert. Hany and Mostafa accompanied us and guided us in these unique sceneries. In the evening, we camped in cute tents and had a freshly made dinner made by Hany himself. It was a beautiful experience to starre at the stars in the sky and have long discussions about life in the oasis with Hany and Mostafa.
I would definitely recommend anyone who loves nature and is open to local Egyptian to embark on this journey with Hany. He was also flexible when we changed our return trip to Luxor instead of Cairo and did not charge us much for the long trip we had. We are super thankful for his kindness and warm-heartedness. One living example of the kindness of the Egyptian people. Thank you Hany! I was greeted by the friendly owner, Tamer, with his lovely cat after a long 4 hour drive from my hotel in Giza. Two awesome tour guides took care of me (Reda & his assistant) during the tour and cooked a delicious, authentic Egyptian dinner with chicken stew, lentil soup, and vegetables. It was an unforgettable meal for a foodie like me. The different landscapes (crystal mountain, agabat area black & white desert) are distinctly beautiful & made me feel like I was in my favorite movie Dune. - Ă…smund2 contributionsWe did the two nights tour and had such an amazing time in the desert with Mohamed. He's friendly, speaks great English and is so knowledgeable about the area.
After our pickup in Cairo we received a tasty lunch before heading into the desert in a private 4x4 car. We stopped at multiple sites, before reaching our camping spot. Mohamed then made us a fantastic bbq dinner and we spent the night under the stars.
The next morning we were taken to a local hotel to freshen up and eat lunch. In the afternoon we were shown local sites in the Oasis before having dinner.
All in all it was a great experience. Can 100% recommend going to the white desert with this company.

Right from the start, taking to various places, explaining the details, sand boarding fun, the delicious yummy dinner and the photography that he helps with is just amazing.
