It was an unplanned desert camping trip on my first Egypt visit. Before my airplane took off, I browsed the viator, and picked this trip.
Amir, the trio organizer was very friendly. Although I canceled the trip 24 hours before because I didn't receive any prpe information, Amir made the effort and gave me discount, eventually his reasonable price won me back.
In the desert, our safari desert guide Waheed, the "king of desert", is another highlight of the camping. He speaks good English, took us to unusual places to avoid crowd. He also cooks wonderful camp dinner including a ozone soup, delicious vegetables and chicken barbecue. He is also caring, funny, and honest. We sit around the camp fire drank the delicious tra he made and had the pleasant conversations about life.
My heart was deeply touched when I saw the moon shines the desert, and when the stars covers the full sky at the middle of the night when moon goes away and the whole world is in absolute silence. I made a promise that I will come back again whenever the scene of the moon, stats, and the desert starts to fade from my memory.
More to add is that this is a very safe trip because I am a female solo traveler.

We had a truly unforgettable couple of days in the desert during our trip! If you're visiting Cairo, you should definitely make time for this tour.

Mohammed, our guide, made everything easy, explaining the history of the sites in a friendly and engaging way. He was also a great photographer and took some memorable photos for us. We enjoyed a delicious dinner after sunset, then slept under the stars and woke up to breakfast after sunrise—camping like a true Bedouin. It was an incredible experience. Highly recommend!

Let me give you all a travel goal. Do it if you are quite brave and can think of doing it no matter what. Because, it ain't easy & might break you if you can't handle digital detox.

After a long journey from Cairo, we reached this magical place called White Desert near Bahariya Oasis. The Desert is vast and continues to Libya via Egypt. It's part of the western Desert, located in the greater Sahara desert region, and the uniqueness of this place is.. the style and formation of rocks.. it has shapes and the unique white color.. makes it look like a different world in the moonlight.

We decided to spend a whole evening and night under the stars and moon.. Adi did a great job in planning everything and Mahmud was our man who was so kind to prepare awesome food and made us feel like locals in the desert! For the first time in my life, we witnessed the milky way & countless stars in an isolated place where time stops. Slept in a tent, tried the sheesha like Egyptians do.

How does it feel when you know there is no one there except you? None else in the vicinity? Egyptian Sahara cold windy weather can make you feel like Sinbad the Sailor who was stuck in the desert and couldn't find his way for a long time.. the cold got us slowly.. we sat by the fire and started our conversations.. this is the best part of our trip, when we talk to the locals, we hear them, we eat the same food, we share our thoughts...

Egypt has surprised us, besides the Mummies and Pyramids.. it has shown us something else which we never thought we could explore.. around 4 am when everything was dark.. we walked around the rocks.. haunting cold wind touching our cheeks & hands and made us feel alive under the stars..

Thank you Adel & team, we are grateful for this trip!

OMG!!! Just book it! My travel partner and I booked with Mostafa many months prior to our trip. He was easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions, and even reassured us when we were nervous! He designed a top notch, custom itinerary for us. Our professional Egyptologist guide Nesreena (Nana!) reached out several days early as well. Our driver and Nana picked us up at the Hilton right on time, we went to the pyramids of Giza and learned all about it. Then we met Mostafa for our camel ride. AMAZING! He and the camel driver took us on a long ride way out into the desert. He was so patient and kind... reassured us as we were nervous! We took our time, they took amazing photos and some fun videos. We never felt rushed. My camel's name was Valentino and my friend's was Michael Jordan. So fun! Beautiful animals. We heard more history and answered all our questions. We eventually headed back and met Nana and our driver again. Nana asked what souvenirs we still needed and made a suggestion and took us to an amazing shop where we had custom bracelets made for my two sons with a cartouche with their names. It was the perfect idea!! The shop also had beautiful jewelry so I purchased a pair of earrings for myself. We went to the GEM museum and continued our tour. Eventually went for a delicious lunch at a local eatery to end the day.

The following day we had the same driver and professional guide. We went to Memphis and Saqqara. Did more shopping and went to the carpet school and the supermarket.... neither were on the itinerary but added bonuses! We had another delicious lunch of local food. We couldn't be happier and would recommend booking with this company for any type of tour you may desire. Top notch all around!

This was recommanded to us by a friend and it was simply MAGICAL!

Khaled and Tamar are such great guides and even better person. The genuine energy, passion and happiness they bring is off the chart.

We were blown away by the beauty of the landscape, the natural flow of the tour and the pleasure we shared around the fire, camping under the milky way and the shooting stars.

We will remember this adventure for a long long time and we would come back in a heartbeat. Having to do this tour again, we would of stayed one or two more nights.

This trip was a major highlight of my vacation in Egypt - I’m so glad I did it. It’s less camping and more glamping which I enjoyed very much. Stargazing is as good as it gets, no snakes or scorpions so you can sleep under the stars under a pile of warm blankets. They cook for you, drive you around, set up/break your tent. All you do is enjoy the nature. I did 2 nights and Black desert at first seems very boring especially after how unique white desert was, but I left the camp and went hiking and found some incredible views to watch the sunset.

We did this tour as the final activity on our Egypt trip. We mainly wanted to do a camel ride and learn more about the pyramids, so this tour was the perfect choice. Our guide Mahmoud El Wakeel was very nice and gave us a lot of helpful information (also about how to navigate all the vendors around Giza!). We learned a lot and hat a lot of fun woth Mahmoud as well as Karim, our driver. Thank you both very much!

Amazing trip. Loooooong drive, especially if doing as a day trip, but an incredible place and 100% worth the visit. Medu (unsure of the spelling!), our guide, was awesome and made the entire experience very enjoyable for my 9 year old son.
