What travellers are saying
- Liberty H2 contributionsIt is a bit of challenge passing through certain points, but the views and exercise makes it all worth it, just as others are saying as well. I don't mind that there are fees so much as it is important to regulate visitors and keep the area clean.Written 24 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonathan Phan330 contributionsKo Phi Phi Lee is a gem of an island. The dramatic cliffs and lush greenery make for a picturesque setting that is perfect for exploring. The waters around the island are teeming with marine life, making it a fantastic spot for snorkeling and diving. The tranquility and natural beauty of Ko Phi Phi Lee provide a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a place where you can truly relax and connect with nature.Written 24 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Victor AungThailand90 contributionsLaem Tong Bay, located on the northeastern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don in Thailand, is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. It's a popular destination for snorkeling, diving, and relaxing on the beach. The bay is relatively secluded, providing a quieter and more serene atmosphere compared to the busier parts of Koh Phi Phi Don. It is accessible by boat, with several resorts and bungalows available for accommodation. The surrounding coral reefs and diverse underwater ecosystem make it an ideal spot for underwater exploration.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel Vibes - IndiaNew Delhi, India304 contributionsWe visited Monkey Beach (Monkey Island) as part of a speed boat tour from Phuket and had read some of the reviews regarding the monkeys so were a little cautious. The beach was not crowded the monkeys simply went about their everyday activities and playing. The monkeys are generally not interested in you and it's best to leave them alone. We loved the water. The beach is thin, the sand fine, and the water is very transparent and turquoise. The beach and area are beautiful, but be extremely careful around the monkeys.Written 12 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VickyPaigar50 contributionsIf you wish to relax and enjoy crystal clear water with powder white sand, this is the place!!! Far away from the crowds! In my opinion the best beach in phi phi. Staying at Paradise Pearl resort located there, the absolute bliss!!! The only thing you cannot avoid is the noice from the long tail boats that are coming and go!!!Written 7 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wsea3hAsia4,426 contributionsNot packed with tourists so we love this beach very much. We stayed in Phi Phi Coralbay so we just walked here. Very difficult to walk on the rocks under the sea when we started from Loh Lana Bay. Waves were so strong in mid October. We had to climb uphill in soiled way among plants and trees, then walked down to reach this beach. On the way back in the afternoon the sea level became lower so the walk was very easy.Written 20 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Devendra GIndia1,057 contributionsThe island is beautiful and be watched from the boat. Tourists are not allowed to get down at the island. We visited the place on our four island visit to phi phi. Beautiful and scenic place.Written 9 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SkirmontVilnius, Lithuania54 contributionsIt took us maybe two hours hike from phi phi pier to get to this beach but it was worth it. It is further so not many tourists go there. It is possible to reach it by boat as well. If you will hike prepare for about an hour walk. The beach itself is beautiful, when we got there there was no people. Water is so clear that a bit further in the sea you can see corals and littles fishes. Beautiful place. Would recommend to hike there from the morning and leave before it gets dark.Written 10 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yann RenaudSwitzerland860 contributionsIt's a nice beach, very crowded, however, a little less than other parts of the island). Because of this, the sand is not as clean as it should be... but if you are on Ko Phi Phi Don, still a place I would propose to stop at.Written 30 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We could only watch from the boat as the caves were closed from entering as it's a natural Swiftlet bird preservation area.Written 30 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wsea3hAsia4,426 contributionsI always like a beach with no one selling things and this is one. No one runs business there so no one cleans. Water is quite clear. There are a boat or 2 waiting when I was there. Probably boats bringing people for a day trip.Written 20 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
