Great experience all round! Pick up and drop off easy, the food was excellent, and facilities were clean and usable considering they are in the middle of the jungle. We saw loads of wildlife, ranging from Orangutangs, monkeys and crocodiles to the Rhinocerous Hornbills and a wide variety of kingfishers and other amazing birds.

The staff were brilliant, especially Afiq who made us feel very welcome and was extremely engaging and informative.

Recommend you pack plenty of bug and jungle spray and your own binoculars.

Thoroughly recommend this tour, a must do activity in Sabah!

Our driver Agas was great, even swapped shoes with me and went and got mine fixed when they broke :) :)

The knowledge and enthusiasm of the guide Aziz was fantastic, he really made it special and worth every cent paid for the tour.

thanks to both for a great day!

We came to the Proboscis Monkey Centre in time for the feeding, whilst there were no Proboscis around, there were a troupe of sleepy Silver Monkeys around the platforms.

The guides placed some bits of food on to the feeding platforms and made some monkey calls and eventually they came, we could see them coming through the trees, the young came out first then some of the older females followed by the big male.

It was interesting to witness the hierarchy within the troupe.

Our guide was excellent, what he had for eyes I don’t know, we did not see any pigmy elephants but we did see lots of different types of monkeys, probiscus, silver, capuchins.
Also saw Hornbills, alligators, Python (in a tree branch) Orangutan in her nest with her baby, sandpipers, snake head bird, eagles, monitor lizard.

    The trip was excellent.

Mixed review on this one as we were highly anticipating the day and had booked it as my birthday treat. Single mum 3 teens. The caves were worth the visit - smelly but great to see - disappointed nobody advised us the collecting nests would start the next day as we would have changed the date to see this. Arrived for lunch in loads of time and hung around for 3 hours for Boat trip. Didnt realise people were heading to the jetty to queue for the boat so we were last on and could not sit together. All the tourists who had been on the boat already knew the best seats were on the outside so everyone took these first leaving single seats left spread out. The boat was crammed with 20 guests whilst on the water we saw other companies with smaller boats and less people and this would have been our preference. The trip was great the wildlife was fab and we enjoyed it just disappointed not to be sitting together with my kids on my birthday when we were first to arrive at the venue. If you go queue up at the jetty ready to jump on the boat or book with another company with smaller numbers.

We went for a 2 days 1 night trip with our own transport. We enjoyed the drive from Sandakan. The accommodation which is chalet was great and spacious. The evening cruise was the best of all as we managed to see some animals such as hornbills, prosbocis monkey and other types of monkey too as well as the rare elephants. We were so lucky to be able to see the elephants as we were told that it's rare and the chance of seeing it is low for about 4 to 5 times only a year. Not forgetting, thanks to Borneo Calling for their excellent service in booking arrangement etc. It is a highly recommended spot for sight seeing and exploration. Also, the food provided was really good too with friendly, warmth and helpful staff.

This was a fantastic tour. Yen our guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable and eager to answer all of our questions. We saw monkeys crocodile and fireflies. We had booked a tour with a seafood dinner and while we did get a beautiful home cooked traditional meal it was not seafood. So a little disappointing when we were expecting seafood. The driver who picked us up from the motel was courteous, however it was a very busy night and so there was a lot of traffic and as a result the driver seemed a little anxious to get to the tour destination. Often driving quite fast. If it had been seafood for dinner and the driver wasn’t so rushed it would have been an exceptional tour.

What a fantastic place this is, such a worthwhile sanctuary these beautiful creatures look so happy, a good mix of young babies and young adults to be seen here, from the feeding tables and to seeing them in the trees above.
We were lucky enough to see them for two feeding sessions one in the morning and one later in the afternoon , less orangutans in the afternoon but caught a great video of mum with her baby eating a coconut.

There are also three areas opposite of sun bears, not so easy to see, but eventually we did see them.

This was the highlight of my trip to Malaysia and Indonesia. Such a professional company. Great communication, even when we had to change hotels last minute.

    Highly recommend.

Particularly wanted to see the sun bears while we were touring Borneo and as it is next to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre it made sense to do them together.
Entrance fee was quite expensive for what you get and like most attractions, using any sort of camera attracts an extra cost.
A new walkway takes you to one of two viewing platforms and that's about it! We arrived at feeding time so managed to take some decent photos. The visit was over in an hour.

We went to the 2:30 feeding. The place is laid out well for walking to the feeding platforms but there is absolutely no information about the monkeys or what the sanctuary is doing.
The charge of 60RM each is twice as much as the Sun Bears & Orangutan's which are a lot better for info.
The monkeys look in great condition and well fed
That said we enjoyed it and was worth doing. .

There were only 5-6 orang utans in the morning feeding time. When we came back at 3pm, none were around. It was a disappointment. When asked a caretaker, he mentioned they were full from eating all day. Then why have the 3pm feeding time???
I came here 20years back where there were more than 20 males and females that came to feed.
    It was a good experience

Visit is very well planned starting with a video of the work being carried out by the Malaysian government and the OrangUtanuk charity . We paid the 10MR to take our camera but no charge for mobile phone pictures. However when the mother and her baby came to eat at the feeding station I just enjoyed the moment and didn’t take many photos. In the memory banks.
Our guide took us on to the nursery where the baby orphans were to be fed too. Watched them from behind glass -to protect them from us -but they were fun to watch and very playful. Congratulations to the staff and all the volunteers for the great work they are doing to conserve this amazing man of the forest. Manynthanks
