    Review of: Sigiriya and Cave Temple with Pidurangala Rock - Full Day Private Tour
    A must see site
    One of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka, this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance.Rock plateau formed from magma of an extinct volcano, 200 m high, 1200 steps to the top, since 3th century BC served as a monastery.
    Once you climbed the top, you enjoy a magnificent view of the surroundings.

    Review of: Wilpattu National Park Jeep Safari from Wilpattu
    Amazing day - one to remember!
    From the moment we met Prakash in our hotel reception - energetic and smiling - we felt comfortable, knew we’d made the right choice with our tour and were excited for the day ahead.

    The tour was of Wilpattu national park, but Prakash started his tour through Colombo and the country ride, informing us of facts and anecdotes, keeping us very entertained. We stopped at a local cafe for morning tea and Prakash ordered local delights for us to try. He also called ahead to our lunch stop to make sure the curries catered for our favorites or things we wanted to try. And the lunch did not disappoint.

    Then we stopped to transfer into our private Jeep with very comfy seats. Prakash was determined for us to spot a leopard and even after seeing elephant, crocodile, and plenty of other animals, he was still positive we’d get to see a leopard. And we did! We stayed much longer than intended, but because of that we saw TWO leopards very close up. What a result.

    Overall I couldn’t rate Blue Lanka and Prakash enough. My only regret is that I didn’t get onto Blue Lanka sooner to plan my full intinerary. When we return, or any of our family / friends embark on Sri Lanka (we felt very safe btw, so would recommend) we will point them in the direction of Blue Lanka.

    I truly enjoyed taking this full day tour with Ishan.
    He showed me around anuradhapura and explained a bit of the history of the area.

    Beautiful historical lake
    Thissa wewa is located in Anuradhapura.It has created by king Dewanampiyathissa.It is a huge and beautiful lake.When I was there,I saw the views of our dagobas from the distance😍That elegant view will never fade away from my mind.Actually, It is a lovely experience for me.

    Review of: One Day Tour - Sacred city of Anuradhapura & Sacred city of Mihintale. (Sunset)
    Avoid!
    Lampa tried to trick me into paying him $25 dollars / 5000 rupees for the entrance to Anuradhapura sites telling me he purchased the ticket the day before on my behalf. After a whole morning of seeing the city minor sites that did not require a ticket , I asked him where was my ticket abs could I see the main sites, the morning was wasted on minor monuments, he lied and invented convoluted stories . I ended up asking to go to the twin ponds, he reluctantly agreed, it was then clear that he never pre purchased a ticket for me. I paid the ticket office and then had to rush to do all the main beautiful sites before heading off to Mintihale. It was a con that I avoided but that spoilt my experience of Anuradhapura abs left a bad taste. How sad. I just wanted to warn other tourists of this trap that might be common. He is defrauding the tourist and the government as well. Not ethical at all and his explanations on historical dates are very vague. As I said, Avoid….

    Review of: 4 Days Tour of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Trinco
    Simply amazing
    Thank you so much Aruna for showing us so many beautiful places of Sri Lanka!!
    We contacted Aruna before our travels and he made an itinerary that suited our imaginations. He always got back to us right away and we didn't have to pay beforehand, we paid after our trip. Once we met in Sri Lanka, he was perfectly on time and we realized straight away that we would get along very well. Aruna is THE perfect guide!! He explained us everything we wanted to know, not only about the sights we visited, also about the culture,the locals and of course the animals and plants. He is 100% reliable, which is not always the case when you travel abroad. So we can highly recommend to book Aruna to show you this amazing country.
    On our tour we rode a tuktuk for 1100 km!! That was so much fun and so quick and lively.

    Once again, thank you so much Aruna. We will never forget our trip to Sri Lanka, you made it very special to us :)

    Best driver & tour guide in Sri Lanka
    We looked online for a driver in Sri Lanka and found Sri Shannon Tours. Neel drove us from Negombo everywhere during our vacation. Planned were only 3 days, it became 10 days - via Kandy, Ella, Yala and Mirissa. And it was the
    best decision! No trip was boring, Neel told
    us a lot about the country and everything we
    saw on our way. He stopped everywhere on
    the way when there was something to see
    and helped us with all organizational things
    (train tickets, safari etc.). Everywhere we got
    the best prices. All drives were really comfortable and had a great car with AC. Highly recommend a tour with Neel! Greetings from Germany!

    Review of: Sri Lanka 10 Nights -11 Days Luxury Guided Tour (All Inclusive)
    110% recommend!
    Sri Lanka is a MUST visit country and for the BEST experience Skyfeather holidays is the one to choose! This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I loved every second of it and it is because of Donald,our tour guide, who made every little thing so interesting and fun, it is hard not to see the love he has for his country, the way he has answers to every question you ask him is so exciting to see. And he knows all the hidden gems! I'm sure it wouldn't have been the same without him. 11 days went so fast and we saw so many things. We got to know the culture, history, every kinds of food... We didn't want to leave and because of him we definitely fell in love w the country! Will definitely come back and experience it all again with Skyfeather Holidays! I will never forget this trip and if you are planning to visit Sri Lanka then I 110% recommend Skyfeather holidays from the bottom of my heart!

    Review of: Chauffeur Guided Private Tour Based on Customer Programme
    Great experience, great price, amazing time with Ran
    When we came to idea to come to Sri Lanka, I firstly searched for a car to rent. But then shortly realized to book a tour with a guide driver. Ran had the best reviews and that was an excellent choice. He deserved such raiting. Ran quickly answered my questions, was flexible and we aligned on a tour as per my plan. Ran advised on timings and offered to book reasonable accommodation, too. The offered was also the best one! He is a good and safe driver, stops when you want and give you as much time as you need. He Never offered or insisted on any touristic shops or restaurants. Ran is very cultural, gives you good orientation and guided us in the visited places. You do not need to worry about booking tickets, hiring additional local guides. The car was very comfortable with well enough place for four of us and our luggage. Ran also well managed for the fuel, so we where not impacted at All by the economic crisis.

    Review of: Classical Sri Lanka Tour
    JourneyScapes and Webjet tour
    Just finishing an extraordinary tour of Sri Lanka- 14 or 15 day Sri Lanka Discovery tour with 5 star beach break. It was booked via Webjet Exclusive and organised by a local Sri Lankan company, JourneyScapes.

    I have never been on a tour that is so well paced, luxurious and amazing value.

    Value- we stayed in wonderful 4-5 star hotels and had high quality food for breakfast and dinner (except 1 night)-all included and were mainly huge buffets. Every night! The entrance charges were all included, some of which were over US $25. Some lunches were included but mainly we paid about AUD$10 per lunch. Airfares are included, which cost about $1000 return. So I estimate the cost per person per night is around $140. That includes the transport and guide. I priced many of the hotels and there is no way we could do this trip ourself for the price.

    Itinerary- we saw all the highlights including Sigiriya rock, Kandy, the tea country highlands and Galle. Plus we did two safaris in jeeps, went on a wonderful train ride and spent two full days in a very nice beach resort. What made a huge difference was spending 3 nights at the same hotel in Sigiriya and Anungalla. Every other hotel we spent 2 nights (except in Hill country). This is rare on tours. We also often were back at the hotel by 3 and swam most days in some lovely pools. Only suggested change to the itinerary would be to spend one night in Galle and leave early to spend 2 instead of 3 nights at Ahungalla (still 2 full days there).

    Guide- we were very lucky to have Ranjith as our guide (Mr Ranjith Ratnayake). He was exceptional- passionate about his country, very knowledgeable and highly professional. He both kept the tour on track, while also enjoyable. He was extremely considerate to us. I had the Lonely Planet and was pleased that he always covered the key sites and more. His explanation brought to life the history, culture, economy and way of life. He made sure we saw the way local people engaged with their temples and work. He was ably assisted by the very safe driving of Mr Sumith and the assistant guide Prasanna. There were only 20 on the tour.

    Transport- we flew direct from Melbourne to Colombo on Sri Lankan Airlines. They were fine. We had an option to go via Singapore with Singapore Airlines but chose to fly direct. The bus was very comfortable and include WiFi and a place to charge your phone!

    Food- the food was a real highlight. Ridiculous amounts of high quality. Everywhere there were excellent alternatives to curry.

    Sri Lanka- it is a wonderful country with warm people. We always felt safe and comfortable. The variety in a short holiday is impressive- from Buddhist cultural sites, to tea country, lovely mountains, elephants in the wild and impressive beaches (even by Australian standards, although the water temperature is much better in Sri Lanka).

    We travelled as a family of four (with older kids). We would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

    Review of: Round tour of Sri Lanka in a Bus.
    Wow…such a good trip!
    Neil took us from Colombo airport to a camp in Udawalawe- about a 4 hour drive. He was on time and offered us the best price out of 4 other drivers. He is kind and is laid back, happy to offer as much or as little chit chat as we wanted. The a/c was pumping, like a cool coastal breeze on a sunny day which provided much needed relief from the humidity of the Sri Lankan sun. Everything in the car was clean as could be. Not a trace of sand to be seen. He stopped several times for us to find an atm, going out of his way to find us the best exchange rate. Then to top it off he found us another driver to pick us up. What a guy. Neil, you’re a champ. We’ll be back. God bless and see you in a few. Toodles.
