We had a lovely wander around here. Yes as other reviews have said, you will pay a much higher price as a foreigner but that's the same as all of the other places we've been to so far. Traffic here can be bad so would consider using the metro from central Delhi and then picking up a ride.

Didn't find there was too much hassle at the gate as we were going in, much worse at the fort

A must visit in Delhi. Despite free entry you will need to stand in long queues for collecting an entry form, lodging your valuables etc. But the wait is worth it. No photography is allowed and shorts and short dresses will need to be covered up.

This was my first time visiting a Gurudwara and it was definitely a memorable experience. Seeing behind the scenes of the community kitchen was incredible, there is such a strong sense of community in all of the volunteers who cook for people from all backgrounds. This shoukd be on your list of things to see in New Delhi.

Worth a quick stop for sure to look, and take a photograph. An archway standing as a tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country, India Gate is one of the landmarks of Delhi.

It's nice, nothing too amazing, the inside is very neutral. No photo inside. You'll have to leave your shoes at the cloakroom as usual

The front gate is the most impressive part of this fort. The museums inside are ok. Teh baoli is nice, not the best you'll see in India. There are a few other buildings to see from the outside. Nice place overall

This is the location of Gandhi's residence in Delhi before his assassination. The arrangement is moving, as expected. The close proximity visitors have is extraordinary. You are in the room where he had his last meeting and you can follow his footsteps to his evening prayer site and what was to be the last gathering. It is all so clear. Much of the residence is a collection of images.a video and his few personal and recognisable items. This is worth visiting.

The Krishna praying inside is truly what makes this place unique. get ready to be approached by many people to "encourage" you to buy a book about Krishna.

We have been to Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of President of India on 12th September, 2023 to see the World famous Amrit Udyan. The tour has to be booked through their official website. It is free to enter for this tour called Circuit 3 tour. Often referred to as Paradise, Circuit 3 will take us through the Amrit Udyan, showcasing the Rectangular, Long and Circular Gardens, the Herbal Garden to visible Garden and finally the Spiritual Garden. We have to enter through gate no. 35, 30 minutes prior to our scheduled time. We have to walk more than 3km in all to see the beautiful building, fountains and different gardens developed on different themes. It was a mesmerizing experience to walk in Amrit Udyan with historical red sand building in the background. The visit has ample photo opportunities to remember.

Connaught Place is officially known as Rajiv Chowk after renaming in 1995, named after the Late Prime Minister of India Mr. Rajiv Gandhi. Commonly it is called CP. It is not exaggerated if we call it Heart of New Delhi. It is one of the main tourist centre, a main financial, commercial and business centre in Delhi. It is a prestige to have office in Connaught Place. There are showrooms of all major small and big brands, which attracts locals also for shopping. There are two circles, inner and outer with heritage buildings having shops, showrooms, lots of restaurants serving multiple and specific cuisines, fast food chains, snacks shops, tea and coffee shops, Multiplexes, road side hawkers, etc. was developed by Englishmen way back in 1933. The whole area and surroundings including Janpath, Rajpath, India Gate, Sansad Bhawan, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Lutyens' Delhi is well designed and beautifully constructed. Several roads emerge from Connaught Place in all directions going to different parts of the city. We were there to Shop wedding dresses and shoes etc. One can reach here by Metro train very easily. One can by handicrafts, local dresses of any of Indian States from State Emporiums showrooms situated near Shiwaji Stadium. Largest Khadi Bhawan is quite popular shopping destination in CP. We had South Indian food in Naivedyam Restaurant. One can enjoy street artist’s performances in the evenings.
