We had been to Victoria Yards twice to do a cycling tour with Micro-Adventure Tours and always thought it was beautiful.
Great to be able to come back for First Sunday. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic music, gorgeous flowers and planting, great market, galleries, and food stalls….and a gin distillery! Really fun place to visit.

Nice design, many expensive shops, frustrating for me to walk around there since many shops are just for bilionaires, and I'm not one

The market is a lot smaller, but it seems to be of better value. Food was really good (Tacos and Indian Curry). The place did not seemed to be very busy after lunch but there were painting classes and Some good quality hand made South African clothing and crockery on display.

Lovely mall in a safe location with nighttime security outdoors. Dining choices at night are outstanding. Daytime shopping experience can be wonderful with several high-end stores. The shops we went in were filled with attentive and knowledgeable sales staff, and security in the mall itself was present. We parked on the street with no problem both daytime and nighttime.

The whole area of Hazelwood is great - someone said "like Cape town in Pretoria". That's not being fair - Hazelwood is very much a vibrant part of Pretoria. Great restaurants, coffee shops and places to hang out!
You won't find an area like this in Johannesburg.

One of Joburg's most special spaces. A series of light industrial buildings set amid picturesque courtyards with pretty greenery. The stores here are mostly boutique stores and offer unique goods, from local designer labels to ceramics, furniture and Joburg keepsakes. Breakfast at Salvation cafe is an institution (not open Mondays) and Peachy and The Bioscope Independent Cinema add a nightlife aspect to the experience. Bean There is renowned for its Fair Trade coffee – and is an excellent place to meet, or work quietly.

Nice luxury mall with ample parking available. There is a food court with plenty of fast food option to choose from. There are also supermarkets for grocery runs.

This is a food market ( with almost no fresh produce, so don't be mislead by the 'farmer' in the name) with a variety of cusines served across the different stalls.

The setting is quite relaxing with live bands/DJs/ open air bars and picnic style seating.

There is a 10 rand fee to enter and the place gets quite crowded during the weekends.

Definetely a fun afternoon out with family and friends.
