Tickets were for allocated seats which were quite comfortable and offered an intimate view of stage.
Refer to the web site to check their performance schedule.

The site is very atmospheric with the memorials listing the names of the dead soldiers and the cairns dotting the landscape.
We had a guide who was attached to the Lodge and he was excellent with his battlefield over view from the Lodge terrace followed by a detailed blow by blow account on the battlefield itself.

Wonderful history - a stunning walk down to the actual monument and a breathtaking view of the sculpture.
The tour guide, Ayanda conducts an amazing tour of the site and the sculpture, including a comprehensive history of the great man.

We had the pleasure to visit the Blood River Heritage Site Forget the politics, this is a story of amazing courage and is a truly atmospheric battlefield.
You can do this site on your own without a guide so long as you watch the excellent video in the main building that gives you all the history leading up to the battle + of course the event itself.
