The point-of- departure is located in a shopping mall just beyond the Sedona's busy downtown. Senic Sedona Tours company operates inside a trendy New Age boutique, the Dragons Den. But unlike a Disney ride that ends at the thematic gift shop, this setup allows tourist to pursue gifts & make purchases both before & after the tour. I was able to find the gift for my wife while waiting to board.
The boarding process was straight forward. The equipment, custom open top Ford Econoline Vans were easily 10 years old but proved to be up for the task.
Our tour guide, Cindy, was both charming & knowledable. She drove to 3 pull- over points; 2 scenic views and one a Buddest Stupta or meditation garden.
The views were spectacular and Cindy's description was both informative and keeping with what I'll call the whole Sedona " vortex vibe" . At the last vista stop our guide added to this vibe by playing her flute!
If you are looking for a 4×4 off rode adventure, this ain't it. But if your looking for a relaxed pace tour, this is just the ticket.
