Beautiful art to see in a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of shops to look through including galleries and boutiques. The structure itself is art.

Nice place to visit day or sunset. Good hiking trails. For $3 you get a parking pass good all day — we used ours to hike and then came back at 6:00pm to wait for sunset.

This church focuses on explaining what the Bible means and how it can be applied to our life today. The preaching goes through one book of the Bible slowly throughout the year so we can learn the history and context in Scripture. They have a study on what was taught the week before at 9:15a.m. and the main worship service is at 10:30. They are usually done by noon. The songs are a blend of contemporary and hymns. There is a children's class for kids during the preaching portion of the worship service. Parking is behind the building.

This is a small little site, tucked alongside a bank, but it is well thought-out and planned with such attention to its Memorial Park and Sculpture Garden mission. It honors the five branches of the armed forces and 2 sculptures pay tribute to the roles played by women and canines in combat situations.

As it is both a sculpture garden as well as a Memorial Garden, it also included an impressive sculpture of an American Indian bust. Benches line the interior of the circle shaped plaza and names of soldiers are engraved in the granite monolith. It affords an opportunity to sit and consider the personal sacrifices made in the pursuit of peace.

There's a very thoughtful and thought-provoking rounded sculpture of the two heads of Lady Liberty and Blindfolded Justice, reaching their arms out to each other. There's plenty to digest in its personal message.

Upon approach to Hillside Shopping Plaza, the whole area is lined with amazing, colorful, imaginative kinetic pieces of absolute creativity done so beautifully.

No trip to Sedona passes by without our walking up there, just to drench our visual senses in delight. If I could afford $3,000 to $4,000 a piece, I would take each and everyone of these creations home with me. Reality is a hard task-master: fast-forward back to the real world where money drives the proverbial bus and also tightly pulls the purse strings closed.

The pieces I covet are for sale through Modern Masters. The small shop is distinguished by the stone benches outside. Yes, there are artistic treasures awaiting the voyeur inside but my interests are caught up in the wind and in the kaleidoscope of whirling colors, shapes, and visual delights.

These will live in my imagination until next visit.

Maybe one or two (hundred) people have previously stopped by, asking if this was the Holy Cross Chapel; I am guessing that is why they have stenciled on their doors that Holy Cross is a mile further up Chapel Road.

Anyway, the church has 2 services on Sunday and the first one is a bit more traditional (Classic worship service) and the latter one is a contemporary (joyful) service. Both have choirs.

The grounds are so pleasant; a small fountain graces the courtyard and benches are situated under the branches of mature trees. The large glass circular stained glass window depicts the lamb of God in the center of what really looks more like a spider web (but I imagine this is just artistic license at work).

The church sits next to the Fire Station #6 and the Jewish Synod is on the other side of the firehouse on Hwy 179.

Yesterday the 3 of us had some Myofascial Release. Mom and sis also had Channeled Massage, I went on to have Cranial Sacrial Massage! We all 3 left with a different expierence! Today we went to have Breath Work and Womb Healing with Valerie Sanjali Irons. What an ABSOLUTLEY out of this world moment we all shared! Through our journeys we have had some deep healing! Things we no longer have to carry and things that do not serve a purpose! What a blessing!/ THANK you for renewing and healing our souls!

This is the most perfectly beautiful chapel for anybody to be wed. It looks so beautiful at night when it is filled with lit with candles. The courtyard provides the most beautiful photographs as well. A+ recommendation!
