What travellers are saying
- Andy PLatchingdon, UK78 contributionsAs we are staying at the Dusit Thani hotel you enter this beach by walking through the luxurious garden areas and onto the beach.
With the hot l to you back and the sea in front of of you don’t walk left. This way simply takes you down towards the long tail boats (ok for a photo) but that’s about it. After that the quality of the beach deteriorates.
Go right, however, and it’s simply soft sand, luxurious scenery toward the rock corner and a small island that you can walk out to. Turn right at the corner where rocks are and you then start to pick up beach side bars and restaurants.
The sea water is calm and warm and the beach setting area with its raise decking platform and sun loungers provides for a magnificent setting.Written 6 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We set off at 10am expecting it to take 2 hours….3.5 hours later we got back down 🤣 We took 2 litres of water between the two of us and ran out half way down. Some quite technical climbing parts in places - you need to be pretty fit and nimble and certainly don’t try it in flip flops… A great way to see the nature of this part of Thailand - thoroughly recommended!Written 26 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DennisPapendrecht, The Netherlands6 contributionsIt's a pretty doable hike if you just work out a little. If you are totally untrained and don't have any stamina it will be harder. I'm a smoker and a bit heavier, but not untrained. My first advice don't smoke before ;). It took us about 3 hours and 40 minutes from bottom to top and back. Included a few brakes and making photos. Make sure you have hiking shoes, about 2 liters of water and think twice about going when it rains. The path is pretty okay, climbing a bit sometimes but when it rains i can imagine its harder. The best advice i can give you is goed early! We started at 6am at 22 degrees and ended around 10 with 26/27 degrees which you really noticed. Yeah it's humid but you'll be okay. It's all worth it, the view is amazing!
And if you go early you have a chance to see a lot of great stuff. We saw monkeys and a big Malaysia forest scorpion.Written 6 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TopKingofKingsUnited Kingdom605 contributionsWe went to this island first in our Hong Islands tour. It wasn't busy and the views were nice but we are told not to walk barefoot on the beach as it is quite rocky and bits of stones everywhere - other than that it is a nice island to visitWritten 10 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Samantha P2 contributionsFront desk manager Kwan was very helpful setting up last minute massages for my brother and me. Even though it was late in the day, SoSo/SuSu and Tik gave an amazing effort to make our 90 minute oil massages comfortable while making us feel like special guests. They listened to what we needed and our time at the Spa was a perfect way to end our time in Krabi. Highly recommend Chaonang Spa.Written 26 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Caroline f3 contributionsI spent day spent with the elephants. You can get them covered in mud and then wash them off in the shower and play in the elephants swimming pool. All the staff were lovely. It was a really wonderful experience, which I would definitely recommend 🐘🐘🐘Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tony FHampshire, UK20 contributionsA return to Pooja for shirts. We were impressed by the cream linen suit they made for me some years back and so on our latest visit to Khlong Muang, came back to have three semi-formal (but bright!) shirts made.
After one fitting visit they were ready and are really nicely made, with quality linen/cotton fabric and contrasting collar and cuff lining.

As a luxurious spa journey is an integral part of any Thailand trip we choose Sofitel Krabi Resort, keeping in mind the award winning spa of this resort. We did a well advance booking and reached the place 30 mins before the therapy. Ms Dao welcomed us in a very courteous and respectful way… provided us welcome drink and cooled moist towel for refreshment. After explaining our package ( Tropical coconut Heaven) , they escorted us to the couple room. The reception, therapy room , jacuzzi area were very well maintained, decorated and will give you the feel of heaven. Our therapist Pepsi and Saijai were very well trained, professional and took extreme care to give us a heavenly feel of relaxation and rejuvenation. At the end of therapy they provided us herbal tea and dry fruits platter and allow us to spend some quality time in the lounge. Overall it was a superb experience of Thai massage and hospitality…. A must recommendation for all.Written 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
