- Thom MandosRoosendaal, The Netherlands302 contributionsGreat people that can help you point out the highlights of Yosemite before you go. They helped me very well to get the most out of my trip to the National Park. An older lady showed me the best hikes to do in the limited time i had. Because of her made the most out of it. Visit before going to the park!Written 8 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rickeyq2 contributionsLove love love the talent at the Golden Chain. Always a fun environment. The actors are incredible. They do change every place so it’s always interesting to see how the actors grow during that time. Great atmosphere for family. Fun. Great atmosphere for a date and night. We have been chain members for several years now. We will continue to be chain members for several years more. Great to support local theater!!Written 10 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Zig MeisterHonolulu, HI2 contributionsYeah, it's beautiful, scenic and a well maintained road, and I'm a confident, somewhat aggressive driver. But man, this twisty, turney, up and downey endless stream of loops and switch backs put the fear of the Lord in me. And that's with no oncoming traffic! Two or three times I almost wet myself.
Next time Oakhurst to Mariposa I'll go the long way ...Written 29 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tim O9 contributionsThis was a great tour. Phil, our guide did an excellent job getting us to and from each location. He provided great comments and knowledge every place we stopped. Each location was spectacular so much that we want to go again. What a great day and it was time well spent!Written 24 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark S1 contributionMy wife and I have done a lot of tours and Juli, our driver and tour guide, was in the top one or two. We were apprehensive about being in a van with 6 other people we didn't know for nine hours (they were great), but this trip was well worth it. Juli was the best driver down those very curvy roads (my wife is usually car-sick in the first 30 minutes- but even she liked it). We received a very good cross section of the highlights of Yosemite. The highlight for me was seeing the climbers on El Capitan (Juli had binoculars!). For my wife, it was the view from Glacier Point. The next day we hiked 4 miles up to Nevada Falls and then saw the sequoias at Mariposa Grove- all at Juli's recommendation. Highly recommend this tour...especially early in your visit to Yosemite.Written 17 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah R1 contributionLoved that they joined us on the buses. Really added to the experience to have guides all the way through the park. All our students had a wonderful time and learned things too!Written 21 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SbaffTtBanbury, UK14 contributionsThis was a great experience. We had been in Yosemite park and wanted to do something else before we left. Went with 2 children 10 & 15 and 2 adults. The older child was quite scared but the guys were great with her (and all of us!) and by the end she wanted to go and do it all again!! Really enjoyable and I would highly recommendWritten 30 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
