We stayed here for 3 weeks, in our camper. The site was clean and hookups worked well. Wifi was spotty. Amenities included pool & playground, biking trails, on site restaurant, fishing. Not the cheapest campground, but refreshingly pretty & quiet. Would stay here again!

Been Groundswell Brewing for quite some time. Complete different outfit & Brewer. Good selection of different styles of beer. Stop by and grab a pint or three

Visited this site when my older son and his wife (both are experienced climbers) where in town. They quickly became bored with indoor rock climbing and I knew of this place because I have driven past it many times. It's outdoor, free and there are any number and size of boulders to try your luck. I'm not a climber but I did climb what I would describe as a "shortie" height boulder. It was okay but not something I would do every day, even if I had nothing else to do. On the other hand, my son and D-i-L had a blast! There is free parking in lots across Mast Blvd. No snack bars or comfort stations nearby. If climbing is your thing and you want to spend a few hours doing something besides watching TV, this is for you!

The old green and white barn is the oldest building left in the city of Santee. The barn contains an eclectic collection of local historical interest. The volunteers who run the place are great. Great place to go if you are interested in local history or genealogy. You can also order copies of old photos if you are into that sort of thing. They also have some really great programs for the whole family. Admission is free, but they have a box for donations. There is also a native garden outside.

We had a wonderful tasting experience at the newly-renovated Copper Collar Distillery location in Santee! Their vodka and rum have amazing flavor profiles all on their own, but these guys know how to make an excellent cocktail as well. Their obvious passion for the art of small batch distilling and craft beverages make it well worth a visit.

I felt like a kid again! This is COVID time & difficult to find things to do. Bring your mask- you will need it @ the snack bar & restroom. Speaking of the restroom, VERY CLEAN & the food was GREAT @ the Snack Bar. Hot Dogs are reasonably priced & tasty. I’m a Grandma now & remember when I was a kid going to the Drive-In with my parents. Our adult daughter remembers the fun times @ the Drive-In. We saw Trolls World Tour Movie & Jumanji. I would have given a perfect score but stripes on screen made me Crazy🤪.... I thought it was part of the Troll Movie🤣until Jumanji had it🤣😂!! The price is $10.00 a person for 2 movies. You may bring your own food but of course no alcohol. We will be back👍🏻🥰!!
