- Team McLemorePhiladelphia, PA200 contributionsThis place is spread out over a few locations so be ready to move around if you want to see it all!!Written 7 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FerrisncNew York City, NY46 contributionsImportant to know that you don’t need a resident parking permit to park within 2 blocks of the market during open hours. Nice peaches, apple pie, corn and green beans this trip. Hot day so fresh squeezed lemonade seemed like a winner. Unfortunately sweetened with granulated sugar rather than simple syrup so took some doing to get it into solution:(Written 9 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anthony RWilmington, DE1,960 contributionsThe Joni Mitchell song “Big Yellow Taxi” has a line that goes:
“They took all the trees, they put them in a tree museum
They charged the people a dollar and a half just to see them.”
Anyone who has been coming to Rehoboth since the before-time (pre-outlets) must be as horrified as I am about the rampant development and destruction of natural resources that has occurred here. What used to be a peaceful little town on the ocean is forever a booming mini-metropolis surrounded by the blight of commercialism and developers’ greed.
Mercifully, an oasis remains. Henlopen Acres, a heavily deed-restricted community, is home to a property that has stood nearly unchanged since the mid-1700’s. We are fortunate that the Corkran family in 1938 left behind the legacy of the Rehoboth Art League. The ancient home and barn, while maintaining their historic integrity, have been repurposed into gallery and studio space, respectively. Just down the hill is a more recently constructed gallery that blends organically into the bucolic pine forest. All around, it is a refreshingly stark contrast to the madness only minutes away.
Open year round, visitors can gaze at a continually changing exhibit of local artwork, much of it well-curated, and of high quality. Nearly every piece is for sale, and at surprisingly reasonable prices. There are also special events here like the RAL Outdoor show in August, and the Cottage Tour, one of the town’s best happenings.
Visitors should take a break from the beach, boardwalk, and shops, and come visit the tranquil surroundings of the Rehoboth Art League. It will remind you why this area has been a getaway from hectic life for over 300 years.Written 8 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The architecture for the buildings has been very tastefully created and enhances the overall ambience of the place. I felt as if I was in another world. It was not too busy on the day that I went, which I felt was a shame for these local businesses. Good, but small, array of shops.Written 3 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 5959Mikeal2 contributionsGreat produce, fresh eggs and BBQ. The ice cream is arguably tops in the area. Really nice people who go the extra mile to assist you. I recommend Rustic to all.Written 3 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- SewManyDollsCocoa Beach, FL361 contributionsWe were drawn into this place by forces too precious to mention here, but so glad we were….there was so much to look at and explore, local art, famous artists, and the cutest OLD building with nooks and crannies that were art in themselves! There was even an small antique shoppe, and being a series of smaller galleries made our walking tour feel like we were discovering it ourselves!Written 1 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - podrozniczka60New Jersey14,699 contributionsIt must be difficult for Rehoboth Mall to compete with all the Tanger Outlets. Less than two years ago it was even featured in a popular YouTube series about "dead malls". For many malls it is a time of transition and restructuring as well as making necessary changes if they want to survive. Walmart is the anchor store here.Written 25 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LizaLowndesVA14 contributionsAccording to their website, they closed in August 2017 after 20 years in the business.
What a shame. And when we drove by last month they were clearly closed.
I was sorry to see them go – – they had many interesting things. Sure wish I had been there at the final sale!Written 11 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Staff was friendly and quick to assist us with our selections. We like the fig and the espresso flavored balsamic vinegars.
We also, stopped back at night one night to take in the beautiful view of the overhead hanging lights across the first level plaza. It is beautiful.
Overall, there is still not much in this complex, despite being here for years. There is Sweet Charlie's ice cream, Cooter Browns, White House Black Market and the Olive Orchard. Those are really the only noteworthy businesses. Rest of the complex still remains pretty vacant. I would recommend for the Olive Orchard alone.Written 3 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Parking on a summer weekend was an adventure, but the store is remarkable large and well-stocked, and handles hordes of well-mannered book fans well. Prices are reasonable, and the staff friendly.Written 6 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- youngeaceBronx, NY33 contributionsOne thing I have always loved about leaving my big city is the friendliness I get from smaller towns. I originally thought The Olive Orchard was going to be some kind of wine shop, but when passing by I discovered a beautiful small shop of olive oils and vinegar's with ways to sample seemingly every flavor available.. I was greeted when I walked in and after he was done with the customers that were in front of me, the gentleman in the store gave me his full attention and even helped me pick out the best olive oils and vinegar combo.Written 2 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carole S47 contributionsFirst I could not put the correct date because we visited before the options provided by this site.
We were on a vacation visiting the Eastern Shore of MD + DE . We began our vaca in Ocean City MD with ending in Lewes, DE . making stops along the way. In our journey we stopped at Rehoboth Beach, DE and as we we were strolling along the pomaded stopped at 😜 Snyder's Candy store. My husband choose some favorite chocolates which he thoroughly enjoyed. I was shocked to see the incredibly large
selection of ⬛️. I choose 2 of each black licorice so I could compare so, my bag was full LLOL Believe me, if I lived near that store they'd know me on site 😁
FYI : ⬛️ LICORICE ⬛️
Licorice (American English) or Liquorice (British English) is the common name of Glycyrrhiza glabra, a flowering plant of the bean family Fabaceae, from the root of which a sweet, aromatic flavouring can be extracted. Around the 13th century CE licorice started appearing in confectionary.Written 9 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
