- Doro86 contributionsThere are lots of stores here. Name brand and upscale. I don’t believe they are actually “outlet” stores as the prices do not reflect that. Staff in the sketchers store and Vera Bradley were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are not abundant by any means. There are two main entrances with stop lights to the extremely busy main thoroughfare. So a word of advice, read some of the topics in the forums because so many locals will help you out with spots a visitor wouldn't be able to find on their own. This area is lovely and almost empty in the early mornings. Make sure you check high and low tides. I went during high tide and it was amazing with calm water. - Shannan CMcminnville43 contributionsWe love using the water taxi to get around Destin Harbor. The views are just beautiful! So relaxing compared to driving and trying to find parking. I would love to go on their Sunset Cruise on Thursday night to watch the fireworks the next time I’m in Destin. If you have trouble climbing out of the boat let everyone else get onto the dock first….
