This was a really pretty place to visit! Tons of beautiful butterflies, birds and flowers. We really enjoyed our visit.

I did give it 4/5 because I think admission was a little pricey. We probably only spent 30-45 min. There may be coupons or discounts available somewhere but I didn’t plan ahead. I would recommend looking.

However, I would recommend visiting, especially on a cloudy day. We went early in the morning and it wasn’t busy.

Warning: don't go here if allergic to cats. The house smells like cats and they have over 50 cats roaming around the property.
Hemingway was a very interesting person. From all the car wrecks, plane crashes, and other injuries he sustained over the years, it is suspected that the had a similar brain injury to what modern football players have. Though some of his best writing came while being injured. I enjoyed learning about the life of this larger than life writer that has had a major impact on our world. Well worth the stop.

I am working on visiting all of the national parks, and Dry Tortugas is certainly on of the more remote ones.

While not exactly cheap, using the Yankee Freedom to get there is the best way to go for most people. The boat ride was pleasant and all the crew very friendly. They provided a reasonable breakfast and lunch; and even the snorkeling gear for use at the park. The tour guide, was great, providing background and a tour of the fort and then we had a couple hours to spend on the beach and and in the water. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip and I would recommend it if you have a free day while visiting the Florida Keys.

A must see when visiting key west if you are into history. The tour guide was excellent and answered all of our questions and we did not feel rushed.

This beach had all the things we look for, great snorkeling, pretty beach, shade, amenities and not overly busy. Parking wasn't too far away, but also gave enough space that it was quiet. A great day spent here!

One of the best places to catch the sunset! My wife and I walked up like 30 minutes before sunset and were able to get a good spot. If there’s too many people here you can walk down the boardwalk for 5 minutes and get another good view, tons of space to get a good view of the sunset. They have street performers and a bunch of gift shops so it’s a great place for a walk.

Fantastic restaurants and historic buildings. Would like to see different shops as the majority of them sell the exact same things, but with different prices. It’s a great street to walk around and enjoy the music and people.

Had a great time! Stopped at the end and walked the Old Seven Mile Bridge to Pigeon Key and back. No shade so do early in morning. Take water with you. Can look over into water- we saw Stingray, sharks, pelicans.

It was a fascinating glimpse into the history of this ship. We first-rate tour guide. We hope this ship continues to get the care and preservation it deserves for long into the future.

Come and take a quick picture. We had a short line to wait through. Nearby street parking. Only need 5 minutes not much else in that immediate area.

We had a great guided tour by Indiana at Hemingway Rum yesterday! The distillery is beautiful and the Ernest Hemingway history was wonderful. Great value with the tastings and a rum punch at the Social Club on our way home.

This was a gorgeous church and worth seeing! We loved bed seeing the Grotto stone and learning the history of what has protected the island since 1922! This is a must-see if you’ve never visited before!
