We were lucky to have the whole tour to ourselves. We learned a lot about how rum is made and history of Hemingway. I would recommend going here first before touring his home.

We always look for reasons to take a drive to Key West from South Florida no matter time of year and have made it a tradition to go in July my husband Mark, myself, and our friend Corey. On this trip I wanted us to lean into things we don’t do normally do, even if touristy, that would combine learning, fun, and keeping cool in the heat so when I came across this mojito making class I was super excited!

Crystal was so accommodating with the time that worked best for our private class and booking was super easy process. We showed up a little early and immediately greeted by the nicest people and were able to sample the piña colada which was so good we got one!

Crystal joined us shortly after right on time and we were given a great tour and history of their rum and many adventures which led perfectly into our being able to learn the REAL way to make mojitos! (Take the class for the secrets promise it’s well worth it!)

All the ingredients and tools were set up for us, Crystal was super sweet and informative, and we were even able to taste a few twists of different versions from what we had made which then sold us on buying two different bottles! You not only learn and are refreshed with your drink in tske home tumbler, you also get the muffler and stirring spoon plus get the cutest little diploma as you “graduate” from the class and a group picture emailed to you later.

I can’t say enough about how FUN this was, it’s a MUST DO, and we absolutely will tell everyone we know and take friends and family again. We got home and did not waste time to put our new skills to work.

Paul and Crystal are true trailblazers and deserve all props for all their hard work- so spreading the word -GO do this on your next visit!

Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere! The drinks were amazing. Most of the place is opened to the outside which adds to the character of the place. Make sure you stop by for frozen drinks and the turkey club! Highly recommended.

Free Whiskey... yes along with Rum and Vodka plus some cool history on the walls and some Conch Republic souvenirs as well. They give up a sample of their booze (well not the Absinthe but they tell you about it). Hidden gem that you might walk by. Hours are limited.
