Had a quick 3-day trip to Key West and decided to catch a play at the Waterfront Playhouse. Lucky for us the play was Singing in the Rain. Some of the cast was local and others from other places. But they all were outstanding!! This is the most professional musical I have seen from a small theater. I can just imagine what the other productions must be like. I would highly recommend this Playhouse to anyone visiting Key West. Book early to make sue you get a seat. Can’t wait for the next one.

We parked here to go to the Coast Guard Cutter. We used the bathrooms - which were very clean. There’s a fun splash pad area for kids. Lots of roosters running around too.

Randy Roberts is amazing and FUN!!
Mom and two adult daughters attended his show and had a fantastic time!
He is so funny and personable!
His impression singing is spot on and wait until you hear his “real” singing voice!!
He greets you after the show as well!!
    Highly recommended!!

Love their creativity - each new show is uniquely different and entertaining. (My Girlfriend wanted to go to this and I must admit it was quite entertaining.)

We found out about this place through word of mouth. It was a great place to chill and have some great laughs. All of the comedians were really great, as was the MC. The staff was accommodating, drinks were great, and seating was comfortable.

I saw Lillian Baxter at the Fringe Theater last month, and it was incredible. The show was entertaining and riveting, and the venue was incredible. If you're ever in Key West, you need to catch a show! It is a true showcase of Key West culture not to be missed.

My husband and I attended a performance of “A Tuna Christmas” and had a great time with lots of laughs! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the performance and will absolutely attend another show when we return to Key West. This is tucked away behind the Woman’s Club on Duval and was just so charming on the outside as well as in the theater. We sat in the second to the last row and had no problem seeing the full stage (I am short) because of the small, intimate setting. Casual attire is appropriate.

This is a jewel of a theater. Local volunteers super helpful. Wait staff efficient. Great seating. We saw comedian Tom PaPa who was fabulous without being raunchy!

While we were in Key West, the captain of the glass bottom boat tour said that this was the best act in Key West. We looked for him for several nights at the Sunset Celebration but could not find him. We finally found out that he is located behind Margaritaville. We made a point to go there one evening. All I can say is that it was really, really weird. The cats do a few tricks like jumping through hoops, but nothing terribly exciting. Dominique has become most of the act. He has some sort of routine that really doesn't make much sense and is in heavily accented English. He has several sayings like "Stay where you are - return to your seat" that he kept repeating. He also just made funny faces and yelled a lot. He does make an effort to involve the crowd and will take pictures afterward. I will say that he was VERY nice when we were taking the photo. If I were already there, I might stop and watch a few minutes, but I would not make a special effort to get there. My husband's comment was, "I'm going to find that boat captain....."

We went to see the well known drag performer Christopher Peters. Unfortunately, he was I'll and did not make the show. We were not informed of this until just before the show started which was upsetting. With tickets and drink minimums, this was well over a $125 evening. The show they did put together was moderately entertaining with a stand out main performers(Beatrix). You never thought that you were watching a man perform.
There was a quick lesson as to tiping the artists. Walking in, I did not know that it was customary to tip the performers in cash. I was sitting right in front of the stage and didn't want tobe embarrassed, so I felt fortunate that I had some cash with me(unfortunately mostly large bills). Tip, bring singles, that what most people did and they did it often. You put a $20 in the bucket(or give it directly to a performer) they came back for more. As to the rest of the cast, I found that there was not any real entertainment value. They were lipsyscing to recorded music, With the exception of one of the "girls" (Elle, you would never believe that this is a man), the others were quite unattractive. i mentioned my disappointment to the manager on the way out and he gave me tickets to return at a later date. Of no use to me as I was leaving without any plans to return,
