Cats galore and a very cool house. We went to this tour when we visited Key West for the afternoon. I would recommend doing a tour through the house.

Holy moly, one of the best experiences! It was very pricey, but I was so glad we did it! I booked for a family of 5 in January for a trip in May. I had no issues booking on the website. Check in at 7 was super easy, everyone was really friendly. Our crew for the day did an amazing job. They were super knowledgeable, interactive and approachable. The fort itself was probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Just gorgeous views everywhere you look. We walked around and got into the history and then we went swimming & snorkeling. Just amazing. I would absolutely go back.

A must see when visiting key west if you are into history. The tour guide was excellent and answered all of our questions and we did not feel rushed.

We enjoyed a beautiful Key West afternoon at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. The fort was very interesting, though lacking in signage explaining what you were seeing. Still, very cool place.

The beach was absolutely beautiful, and was a wonderful place to swim. The water was very tropical looking, and was the perfect temperature for swimming.

No trip to Key West would be complete without a visit to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Two thumbs up!

Entertaining and beautiful experience to have with young children. Live music every night and entertainers keeping your little ones occupied. Not a lot of people when we traveled April 11-16 and it was great to walk around in the morning with hardly anyone around and as well as after sunset.

Various boutiques and souvenir shops, tattoo parlors and dozens of bars and restaurants and it's only about one mile long.

Our family loved driving the Overseas Highway down to Key West. We thought the entire drive was over bridges and narrow islands where you could see the water from both sides but actually much of the trip through the islands looks as if you are driving through any Florida beach town. The seven mile bridge was definitely a highlight and we stopped to walk some of the pedestrian bridge. Other places we stopped included John Pennekamp State Park, Snooks Bayside and the Fish House in Key Largo, Rain Barrel Village, Blonde Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory and Robbie’s in Islamorada.

It was a fascinating glimpse into the history of this ship. We first-rate tour guide. We hope this ship continues to get the care and preservation it deserves for long into the future.

Come and take a quick picture. We had a short line to wait through. Nearby street parking. Only need 5 minutes not much else in that immediate area.

Right in the middle of Key West tourist attractions is this commercialized museum.
The greeter at the top of the stairs had several interesting stories about the "wrecking" culture. In the heyday, there was 1 wreck weekly to be salvaged.
Walk to the top of the lookout.
    Recommended ever if it's corny.

I had read good reviews about this place ahead of our recent trip, but it kept getting pushed down the list of things to do. My Dad and I ended up here on the final day of our trip as it rained. Wow!! What an awesome place filled with so much information on the Florida Keys ecosystem. We are still shocked that it's free to visit!! And free to park!! Which is not common in Key West. Definitely a must for anyone traveling with kids, but even without (we did not have children with us) - all should check this out!

Nice little beach to spend a few hours. The beach itself is small, but on KW this is expected. It was a short walk from the Old Key West Trolley Stop (#10.) Be aware, bring water & snacks if you have small kids. There are no places to buy those from. Also, the initial area in the ocean has a bunch of rocks, so your feet might be sore, although this can be avoided if you get in the water from the stairs on the pier. One other disappointment was that the adjacent playground was closed for renovations. The 4 y/o had a meltdown, but such is life!

There is not a better party anywhere! Ok... that might be a bit presumptuous, but if you are over 30 and like to dress up, have fun, eat, drink, drink and get a little crazy, this party is for you. The costumes are amazing, people wear anything from a boring t-shirt to full-on transformer. Lots of body paint, pasties, masks, hats, off the shelf costumes and some amazing walking works of art. The parades happen all week, and the bars are packed. Take a small suitcase and an open mind. Pool parties are off the hook, lots of private events to get as naughty as you dare, and some of the hotels get a little clothing optional this time of year. Now the city is promoting a little more family freindly type event than maybe it has been in the past, but like anywhere public, show some respect, don't be a jerk, and use common sense and everyone has a great time. Key West is changing, for sure, like everywhere else, but we still had a blast. Do eat at Pepe's
Drink at the Schooner Wharf, and dance wherever it's loud. Don't miss a sundowner at Mallory Square and be nice to people. 🍍
