I have been to the zoo several times, I have gone with friends and with boys, a super nice time is spent, it helps you connect with nature and get to know a little about the fauna of our planet. Thank you, it has helped me a lot to disconnect from the city.

My wife and I went here just so she could hold a monkey. We ended up holding several very nice animals and falling in love with a special monkey named Romeo. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our question on their very wide array of species. A very fun experience for both of us

I visited here both days I was in Miami. It’s a nice spot to walk but it’s not a huge area. It leads to Bayside Marketplace from downtown and overlooks the water and port. There was some evidence of rough sleeping in the park but that’s not a shock and it wasn’t intrusive.

A different look at wild life. You are in the cage and the monkeys are on the outside. Highly recommend a visit.

Don't be confused. It took me a little while to figure it out. The Charles Deering who established the Deering Estate was the brother of the James Deering who built Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Two Miami landmarks, two millionaire brothers/industrialists/philanthropists. Charles Deering was the son of William Deering, founder of Deering Harvester Company. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy and serving as an officer in the Navy until 1881, he became secretary of his father's company, which merged with McCormick Harvesting Company and became International Harvester in 1902. He died at the age of 75 at his estate at Cutler. He lived on the 444-acre property for five years, from 1922 until his death in 1927. Located at 16701 Southwest 72nd Avenue in the Cutler neighborhood of Palmetto Bay, the estate, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, consists of a three-story wooden house built in 1900, known as the Richmond Cottage, and a three-story stone mansion. The grounds include what is thought to be the largest virgin coastal tropical hardwood hammock in the continental United States. The Richmond Cottage was built as a family home at the end of the 19th century, converted into a 22-room hotel in 1900, then purchased by Charles Deering in 1916 and used as his residence until his Mediterranean Stone House was completed in 1922. It has 18-inch poured concrete walls, oolitic limestone, coffered ceilings, copper clad and brass doors, an elevator and a wine cellar. Deering intended the house to be used as a showcase for his art collection and books. Two other must-see attractions on the property are the Cutler Burial Mound, one of the few surviving prehistoric mounds in Miami-Dade County, and the Cutler Fossil Site, a sinkhole that was discovered in 1979 that was found to contain bones of Pleistocene animals and bones and artifacts of early humans.

    Lovely museum!
My partner and I visited while in Miami, the aquarium was great, we could have watched the sharks all day! The planetarium was fun too.
Other than that it’s a fairly simple, very interactive place! Good for kids!
Does make me realise how lucky I am to have amazing, free museums in the UK though.
    Worth a visit.

Hello Everyone I Wanted To Start Off to say the Customer service in this place from a few employees was 10/10. some people now days still have that guest experience in them. Alex the show monitor has so much enthusiasm that it's rare you see that now days, such amazing hospitality and you can tell he puts guest priorities first. he loves his job and getting the crowd pumped up. he recommended me to do a dolphin encounter to meet a dolphin at dolphin harbour and that was the topping to our day with my two boys. the place is a little run down but our favorite show was the top deck dolphin show. the meet and greet was breathtaking and emotional these beautiful marine animals are so sweet and smart. i also would like to recognize veronica show monitor she also has the capability to endure in a guest experience by her knowledge and personable approach about the park

overall i want to say thank you miami seaquarium for having these phenomenal employees representing your company, alex will keep striving far with his hospitality and showing enthusiastic energy. we will be back and hope to see alex and veronica here again

What I found is a little bit of heaven! Small beach in a shelter area. Overlooking Biscayne Bay and the city of Miami but without the traffic. A restaurant. The park offers Kayak and Paddle Board rentals and has walking trails and a Marina. Nice place to ride your bike or walking among nature. Entrance fee is $5 on weekdays and $7 on weekends.

Thought this was so cool. Groups of men sitting in the park playing dominos. How fun would that be! They didn’t seem to be taking it too seriously. Lots of laughs.
