Four of us visited the Kennedy Space Center yesterday. The attractions we could visit were great— the Rocket Garden, the two IMAX Theater shows (one on protecting from asteroids), the Atlantis exhibit with a great tour leader and the Movie on preparing for travel to Mars, were great. The disappointment was the difficulty in navigating the site. First, my wife tried to book us on the free bus to the launch pads. She used her phone to grab the rectangular symbol and went through the steps to reserve our seats. Unfortunately, when she came to the place to put in “price” she skipped it since the bus was free. This resulted in the computer not saving our tickets and we could not take the tour. Apparently, she should have put in 0. That is not necessarily intuitive and nowhere explained. The map provided was also hard to follow and there were so many signs that the important ones get lost in the maize. Very educational, but hard to navigate for somewhat with it 74 year olds.
