Excellent selection of beers. Great little gift shop/bottle shop. Very friendly. Welcoming to all, and proud of it. Love it.

A very unique little gallery with amazing artwork. The grounds are beautiful. 2nd visit there. They are also home to Yummies.

Considering the reason we made the trip to Baysville, ON. It was lovely. Found out where my mother grew up and where my mom and dad met.

    Would definately go back.

We decided to go check out this park as it was not really out of our way on our return home, and we read an archived newspaper article saying that it was an off-the-beaten path place to visit. We did also read that the main part of the park was more or less there to visit at the visitor's discretion, with the main access through Black River Road and Old Wagon Road being somewhat of an x-factor in terms of approachability due to them only being maintained as snowmobile routes. Instead we chose to approach the park from Bird Lake Road and Bigwind Lake Road, which cut through only a small chunk at the Western edge of the park. Though we got there easily enough (the road is paved most of the way) there wasn't anything to do in the park itself or even any notice that we were there (other non-operating parks usually seem to have a sign to signify park boundaries). We thought that we might be able to see the lake from beyond the park where the cottages are but except for one small sliver, nothing was visible. We even considering bushbashing with the GPS to find a lookout over the lake (which should have only been about 200m from the road) but as it was raining heavily we decided against it. In the end visiting the Western section was not worth it, but I suppose driving down the abandoned back roads had a bit of charm.

This store is an all year round source for food and cottager needs and has an excellent gas service for the area!

Tucked away on hiway 118 at Bayville, this store is full of everyday delicacies. Owners are very helpful and the whole visit, whilst brief, would enhance a trip to cottage country.
